Courtyard by Marriott

Friendliness of staff in restaurant during breakfast was "flat". Didn't seem real interested in customers. Desk staff great. Remodel outstAnding.

We have alwsys enjoyed Marriots. This is a very nice hotel with well designed rooms. The decor was also well done. It was ideal for business or pleasure. The problem was; 1: not real clean. The grout was dirty in several places, one by the toilet with urine stains. The carpet had crumbs, a plastic piece from a clothing tag and as few other little things. Not what we expect from a Marriott. However, kudos to the Manager on duty. She reduced or room rate by half & offered free Starbuck coffee for our disappointment in the room & inconvenience. I would return and give them a second chance.
