Big O Tires

I got a bad used tire from the Flagstaff Big O the day before and the associate didn’t even acknowledge it. Also added the hazard insurance without asking me first.

Lack of communication on the progress of the work.

The $49.99 oil change advertised on your website was not honored. Was told that it was a Phoenix promotion even though it's on your site. Had scheduled an appointment for my oil change and it took nearly 1.5 hours.

It was great to have an offer with a really good price and we appreciate it but we especially wanted to know about the status of the brakes and I did not see any comments.

Replace the tire air valve stem caps upon completion of the repair.

I guess it was my fault for not asking how long it would take to repair the tire when I scheduled it, but I assumed it would be a 30 minute repair. An hour and a half to patch a tires seems excessive. If I knew it would take that long I would have arranged a ride.

I was quoted at an hour, it took 3 and they still weren’t able to finish so 8 had to come back the following day to finish which took an additional 1 1/2 hours

I had a flat so this was the closest place to pull into. I had looked on the website to choose a tire that got my budget. The man who came to check my car tried to sell me additional tires (which I didn’t need) and when I showed him the tire I wanted from the site basically told me they don’t go by that, the site does not show the ACTUAL tires available, and if I wanted a tire that day I only had one option that was almost double the price of the one I had selected. I was stuck so I got the tire - but he was very short with me and really seemed like he could have cared less.

I informed them that I was going to wait for my vehicle. My car just needed a routine oil change. I waited about 2 1/2 hours. They worked on other cars before me when I had an appointment and was on time. No one came to me to explain why it was taking so long. I have used bBig O in the past and will now look to see where else I can have the oil changed on my car.

I had an appointment for 7 am for a brake inspection, which was confirmed. I dropped the car off promptly at 7 am. The employee who checked me in refused to give any indication of how long it would take, despite my asking. After 2 hours, I called a little after 9 am and was told by a different employee that the car would be inspected within about 20 minutes. After another 2 hours with no word, I called again after 11 am. The employee said then that they would get to the car soon. When I asked if it would be within the hour, I was told "possibly," again very unhelpful. This was 4 hours after a 7 am appointment. When they finally did the inspection, the price quoted for brake replacement was excessive, given the true cost of the part (available, e.g., at Napa). Huge markup and excessive labor charge. Very poor experience to have an appointment and not have it honored.
