Big O Tires

I was very pleased to see Shawn Venega when I walked into the store in Ames, Iowa. I worked with him and also Bill Mitchell when I did business in the Ankeny and Urbandale stores. Anyway, Shawn did an awesome job in helping us get four new tires on each of our two vehicles. Plus, it was a big bonus to see Russ working at that store who did work on my vehicles in the Ankeny and Urbandale store previously.

The guys did a thorough inspection and figured out what was causing my problem.

Had a blow out on interstate. Replaced tire with spare. Drove 20 minutes to store just before closing. Called ahead and manager accommodated repair of tire. Upon inspection 2 or 4 tires were at the point of replacing. Decided to replace all 4 tires. Crew stayed after hours to balance, install and align tires.

The manager of the Ames location was awesome. He brought a lot of positive attitude towards his work and helping others.

The staff and management at the Ames, Iowa Big O made my visit very pleasurable. I was planning on purchasing 4 Pirelli tires for my wife's Lexus online and asked if they could match the Tire rack price. They did. Glad to keep my purcahse local. It is nice to not have to drive all the way to the Ankeny, Iowa store for tires and service. Great addition to add the Ames store. Thanks again for your service and help. Appreciate the help with the service needs of my vehicles.

I was able to get in as planned. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I had an emergency issue on my truck and was from out of town. They didn’t need to work me into their schedule on a Saturday but they did. They knew I was from out of town, but they treated me like I was a regular customer. They fix the problem that had just occurred and solve the problem that I’ve been trying to resolve with many car, repair shops for a month super friendly, incredibly fair price, and very knowledgeable.

I did not have an appointment. I was on the road with a tire issue and they got me right in. I was back on the road in about 30 mins. Grate people great service!
