Dreams - York

On entering the store we were approached by Chris who welcomed us and informed us that he was happy to give any advice while we browsed the products. He was very efficient and professional in supplying the appropriate information and if he was unsure a colleague was able to supply the answer. There was a relaxing atmosphere in the store and we felt we were not being pressurised into making a purchase. All in all a great experience.

Telephoned the shop first, phone call answered very quickly by Mathew, and he advised the location of the mattress in the store and answered a couple of questions about the item. Arrived at the shop one hour later and although the shop was very busy we had only stood by the bed for a minute or so when approached by Kirsten who was equally knowledgeable about the product. Would have said highly satisfied to other questions but the mattress has not yet arrived. Was able to change the delivery date on line with minimum of difficulty.

From when we arrived, we were greeted by Frances, who was extremely helpful and informative. Straight away the store layout was explained and the special offers were pointed out, she even offered us a drink before leaving us to browse. We never felt rushed and it was refreshing to not have a hard sell from the staff. Would not hesitate to recommend this store to others.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Directed us to the area we needed to be for the bed we were looking for. We didn't feel pressured into buying anything. As one of my pet hates is when you step foot through a door and someone jumps straight at you asking what you are looking for and asks a whole load of other questions and been made to feel like you have to spend money there. (Although I know its done to make it easier for customers in what they are looking for.) However this was done in a friendly relaxed way at dreams and it didn't feel like they only wanted your money. Well done dreams! Keep it up!

We were offered help but not in an invasive way. We were given lots of time and encouragement to try different mattress types. The staff were knowledgeabl, helpful and friendly.
