we required the bed for a particular date and whilst the availability for delivery (6 weeks from order) was near to our cut off date it was none the less to be delivered the week before we needed it. We then get an email from NikkiCole@dreams.co.uk saying that another 7 weeks until delivery thereby doubling the delivery time? I contacted the store and explained, I expected the issue was awaiting delivery from China or similar, the store said that deliveries from China were an issue but that there was a container of stock that landed but cannot be found that could have our bed in it! I await further news. I can only assume that Dreams stock control doesn't operate on a trending basis to allow for such popularity. Do I want another bed ... the one we chose was exactly what was required and cancelling doesn't solve the issue as we would then have to find another bed in even less time.

Having left the store and later upon checking copy order we noticed the incorrect order date had been recorded. When placing the order we were given a range of dates and chose Saturday 24th June. The date stated on the order was Monday 19th June. On 13th June we received SMS message confirming 19th June. Rang Stoke store 2.10pm on 13th June and store amended delivery date on their system to 24th. On 24th June a dreams delivery team delivered a mattress to our home address. When the van had left we noticed the mattress did not fill our 5ft King Sized bed base. We rang Stoke store and were informed order was originally placed for a Double sized mattress. We were unaware of this until the delivery of 24th June. We spoke to the Stoke store who confirmed they had placed an order for a Double size. We explained that we were expecting a King Size. The store apparently contacted Customer services and subsequently offered an exchange delivery of a King size on Saturday 1st July. The store representative stated that we would have to pay an extra £90. When I pointed out the store had initially made 2 mistakes on our order, I stated I would not be willing to pay any extra.

We went to the store because the advertising distinctly claimed half price on mattresses but when we got into the store we found that this was not the case. Only selected mattresses where half price, thus we fealt that this was false pretences and we're disappointed to say the least. Having said that the store manager was very understanding and we were offered a reduction and we processed with the purchase.

I was very happy with my experience on the whole. The only 2 things that I feel needed improvement was firstly, I had to wait a silly amount of time with the assistant until a computer station became free so that I could purchase the mattress. The store was not overly busy either. Secondly, the excitement I felt at buying the mattress was dampened due to having to wait from 26/12 when I bought it to 10/1 when it could be delivered. I could have had it 8/1 but I was working that day. Delivery time was disappointing as I really wanted to get a good nights sleep on my new mattress as soon as possible!

assistant (jp15) jane parton spent a long time shadowing us in the store, where we eventually spent a lot of money to have a mattress delivered while we were off work. but when it arrived she had ordered a totally different one! the delivery man said why don't you have it anyway! we refused it as it was not what we ordered, now we await a replacement but are back at work so delivery is an issue. customer service in store/ phone and web chat is none exsistant

Me and my husband wanted to buy a memory foam mattress but wanted advise about them too. She the sales person named Dina was horrible and spoke to my husband as if he was stupid. We should have walked out then. But we saw a mattress on clearance sale. She failed to tell us it was infact second hand quality. Only mentioned it after we were about to purchase it. She told us that the mattress we were buying is coming from a warehouse somewhere and that somebody else has had it for 30 days and returned. So please tell me is that not classed as second hand. She Dina still lied and would not even admit that is second hand. She just wanted to makr a quick sale that day well too bad because i am not spending that much money on a second hand mattress! Her total attitude towards me and my husband stinks! With a big company like yours customer service should be top. Well i did go somewhere else and got my mattress with top fantastic customer service where he took the time to explain the different types of memory foam mattresses to us. Brilliant customer service and thats who i will be recommended to family and friends in future. Sorry Dreams but you can dream on!

The bed we ordered was delivered on 28th January but the headboard was not delivered. I rang the store who rang me back and told me a double headboard had been ordered instead of a king size, we now have to wait until sometime in February for delivery. I don't think this is acceptable especially considering how much we paid.
