Dreams - Peterborough

We received a friendly greeting from Tyrone who understood our needs and took us through the bed matching exercise. This helped immensely and reduced the vast field down to a manageable size. My wife tested them and reduced the field further down to Tempur mattresses which we already have. We spotted suitable bed frames and left to talk over and agree on our choices. We return a few days later, after Tyrone’s days off, to purchase these items. We were greeted by Tyrone who not only remembered us but also our possible range of mattresses and made both of them available whilst we investigated the Sleepmotion 800i bed frame. My wife was initially unsure of its suitability but having seen it in action became convinced it would work in our new bedroom. This is still under construction. We were able to book delivery and assembly in October when we are told the building will be completed. We have the opportunity to push this back if there are any problems. We were very pleased with our visits and it was worthwhile finding the Dreams store. This was a recommendation from a friend.

We currently have a very uncomfortable bed and it's done a lot of damage to our backs, so we came in and explained this and we where looked after right from the start! Matt in the Cambridge store was very helpful and initially helped us identify the mattress we needed and liked the most, and also the pillows we wanted. we then went to the store in Peterborough and the store manager helped us discover the frame that we wanted with his knowledge of the products. Overall a really lovely experience.

Colin was very informative, knew the mattresses and after we told him our current mattress, he suggested certain mattresses for us to try. He even got us a couple of pillows so we could get comfy! He spent time discussing different bed options too; divan, ottoman or frame. He showed us upstairs to a frame so we could compare. We then decided on an ottoman and he showed us different options for the headboard. All the time he was working out the different prices for us, gaging what was within our budget and then suggesting alternatives. Colins patience and knowledge meant we ordered the mattress we wanted on a bed that suits our needs (an ottoman for the storage). Without Colins help, we wouldn’t have got the bargain mattress and would have settled for a different one. Colin was great, he wasn’t full on or pushy (like we were dreading) and he was kind, patient and he listened to what we wanted. He knew his products and was able to guide us. We were only popping into Dreams on our way to Harvey’s and Bensons for Beds (sorry for swearing) but to be honest, we found all that we needed too and didn’t need to waste our time going elsewhere.

The staff were very professional and we felt like they didn't want to rush us.

We had Aaron in our Peterborough store as our assistance and he went absolutely above and beyond. Truly lovely to have someone who seemed like he generally wanted to help us. He made sure myself and my sister were satisfied, found the same mattress I wanted in the sale. Overall, he did a swell job and we are very pleased.

When we first walked into store staff was very friendly and eager to help he asked what sort of bed we was looking for then showed us what was available, Very happy with all his help.

The gentleman serving me was very polite, patient and willing to help me. Apologies as I can't remember his name but I do know he was the store manager, never bought a bed before so it was all new to me and he was so willing to give me his time and efforts to get the perfect bed for my needs in such good time and perfect service so thank you
