Dreams - New Bromley

When enquiring we were given a delivery date for the next week, but when the order was being placed the delivery date was three weeks time. We were given a date for delivery but a colleague was able to bring this forward when we complained. We are still unhappy with the delivery date but have little option but to accept it.

The store was well Laid out so it was easy to find what I was looking for. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store, and was able to talk through what I needed without being pressured into buying something I didn't need. and there was lots of delivery dates to chose from.

Customer Service was very good. We bought a sofa bed. This variety in sofa beds was not extensive and the prices were fairly high

Couldn't find exactly what we were looking for. Wanted an ottoman king size bed with a structure. Wilson would have done this but only in double at this time. Some beds were scuffed and a bit tatty. Lucia bed wasn't put together that well-beds not dressed as similar showrooms have been. More ottoman bed styles needed-frames available are a bit square. A Lucia style ottoman would have been perfect. In the end compromised. Choice of mattresses on the other hand was excellent and all staff great.

Product takes 4 weeks to be delivered which is ridiculous. Also charging 50 quid for assembly is a bit of a liberty.

Just after noticing the incorrect price and after I pressed the ok button, I was informed that my refund will take 5 working days to be received. This should have been returned immediately. £495.05 is a lot of money to wait for five days especially as d/d and s/o’s leave my a/c on 1st of the month. Error has caused a lot of problems.

It took an hour for the underwriters to approve my credit facility, despite having an excellent rating and bringing in passport and driving licence as proof of identity. The store did chase up but without pushing for an answer.

There are so many hidden extras when you purchase a bed ie delivery and disposable of beds and extra guarantee
