When we first arrived bang on for our appointment with the Sleepmatch at 3pm, the assistant who saw us, Laura, was dealing with another customer and there wasn't another assistant available as they'd only just managed to go to lunch, so we waited for nearly 10 minutes while she finished dealing with them. We're not blaming the staff - maybe the store should have brought in another assistant for Black Friday.

The only thing that let down the experience was that I was told that I needed to buy a Tempur mattress protector otherwise my warranty would be invalid. I questioned this and was told that if you spill liquid the mattress would ruin, so I said 'so so it is covered for everything apart from spillages' and was told, no I would invalidate the warranty if I did not use the tempur mattress protector.

We previously bought Eve mattress from Dreams which wasn't available anymore. The only ones were the high end tempur mattresses. There were others but we preferred Eve/Tempur. The delivery time was a bit too late 3 weeks) as well compared to one week quoted.

Store experience was OK, except the form was filled in wrongly which meant that the delivery experience was the worst I have EVER experienced. Happy to discuss further by phone but I am not going spend any more of my time on this today writing it all up as my day, and my experience buying a high end product, has been ruined. The staff were very friendly and highly knowledgeable but were reluctant to help me find something that was in my price range and were very adamant to sell me a more expensive mattress than the one i had been looking at im store.

Choosing a bed is a very personal affair and I personally like to take my time and try the beds at my own pace. Due to only being able to go to the store at weekends there were often times when I would have liked to try a bed, but other customers were doing the same. This is not a negative comment on either the staff or Dreams, but it is the reason why I only felt that I could give a "Satisfied" rather than "Highly Satisfied" response to my experience.

Toby was fantastic, very knowledgeable and paid attention to our requirements. The only reason we were not highly satisfied was because our first choice was out of stock, so we opted for the display bed.
