Dreams - New Bromley

Happy store excellent service from assistant Ali, explained most of the mattresses that we were looking at which was a great help. Which made us decide which one to buy. The Bromley shop was must efficient full marks.

With little expectation, being the first time in such a store, I was listened to carefully and guided through the beds being given all the time that was needed to try the 5 matresses without feeling rushed, indeed made a tea and offered a second during payment on the bank holiday Monday, despite a busy store.

Staff greeted us immediately on arrival, found out what we were looking for, asigned a colleague to help us and offered drinks. What can I say about Nandita? She was wonderful, one of the most helpful assistants I've ever met; warm, friendly, very knowledgeable about products and able to lead us through the bewildering array of beds and mattresses. As the store was fairly busy, she was alert to new customers arriving and was able to ensure they were greeted and started off on their search without us ever feeling we had been abandoned. She was quick to pick up hints as to our price range and when it was worth mentioning additional products and when not to! We came away with completely different beds/mattresses than I had anticipated from my online searches and I suspect far better ones albeit also more expensive, although not ludicrously so. So overall, a good experience and very satisfied customers at this stage of the purchase.

Staff keen to help but not over imposing. Initial guidance given and then we were left to make decisions - easy to find staff again to clarify etc.

Nandita the Dreams colleague was very understanding, professional and had great product knowledge. She was able to advise us of the best suited products for us and even up sold two expensive pillows.

Got what I wanted and was dealt with professionally

Lynne was polite, well informed and could see I was wanting to make a fast pain free purchase. I was offered a hot drink but I was in the store for so little time I could not take advantage. All I wanted was a good medium single mattress and had no interest in haggling or wasting time. I tried the bed recommended and it was just fine then we went ahead and concluded the transaction with delivery due just a few days later. As I said value was not my 1st consideration so rejected the £100 mattress in favour of Dream's own single mattress. I last shopped at Dreams 10 years or so ago and my Myers mattress is still in pretty good condition. I would definitely come back to Dreams again.
