When asked about if there are any other mattresses within the budget we were looking for , the worker at dreams said no. Given that our budget was £250 and online there were several matteresses on there before we had gone to the store it was a bit confusing how only two mattresses could be available? When online there were several. The colleague also was very abrupt and when asked if another mattress was £200 he replied “I very much doubt that is £200 if the sign says it is £200 you can have it for £200. It’s more like £1000.” I found this comment very rude and not necessary. I think a more polite manner would have been more approachable. Also, he said to complete the survey and say that he offered tea and coffee when he had not. I am not going to lie.. I just thought the whole process of the salesman was very rude and unhelpful. Especially when me and my sister are young adults, I think he must have thought we’re naive and an easy “sale”.

A women provided me and partner with great customer service, she as knowledgable an friendly and remembered me when I returned. We went to pay for our product and as she was already helping someone else she asked the store manager to help (which was fine no issues can’t say enough how lovely she was) she asked the store manager to fill up our order. 3 mins in he took a call while talking to us, after he got off the phone it felt he was more about selling us other products and got slightly annoyed when we didn’t want them. Our address is a new build and I have a postcode which he said was incorrect and went with the postcode he found (which I know not to be correct but didn’t want to correct him)

The two ldy advisors were so friendly however, the guy who showed me the beds kept trying to sell me a bed above my budget, which I found very irritating, it was like he didnt listen. When I asked him about how much a bed would be without a headboard, he asked me my budget he said he would sell it for that price. It wasnt until a lady took over, that she suggested something within my price range, she said she'd spoke to him to get the price down even further, when it came to paying the price in fact not gone down. It was only because I liked the bed I brought it not because of the staff. I was buyin on my own so felt like they were taking advantage of a single woman. Not happy with the service at all.

I telephoned to ask if you had the eve mattress in stock and was told yes. I also asked about interest free credit and was told I could get it. We went in to purchase the mattress and we sat down to purchase and when we said we wanted interest free were told were couldn't take the mattress with us if we took that option and would have to have it delivered two weeks later. We specifically took bills and driving licences but that didn't allow us to have the product. We ended up having to pay cash which we don't really have as the whole point was not to pay on credit card because of the interest charges. We also had to wait about 20 mins for our invoice as the printer wouldn't work which was quite frustrating.

We were buying bedroom furniture, we needed to measure all furniture and ensure it fitted the bedroom . The assistants were not particularly able to do this and whilst always pleasant we had to check everything fitted ourselves. As the staff are selling bedroom furniture- I think they should be able to assist with measurements and spacing. I must emphasise that staff were always pleasant - I just think that service should be incorporated maybe by mapping out on squared paper.

As we are both young adults, we were instantly profiled as teenagers not willing to buy an item. We were refused the sleep match machine and told to come back when we were serious. The only reason we purchased was because Dreams had the best price for what we wanted. We will not recommend this store. Social distancing wasn't adhered too on the first visit. On our return the next day more procedures were followed but still not to a high standard. Overall, we felt penalised and judged on our decisions.
