I ordered two single beds for my ex wife and I. We live in the same town and only one old double bed will be collected, but I was refused a split delivery, which has soured my shopping experience and whether I will return again in the future.

We've never spent more than £500 for a new bed with a mattress before and we're so fed up of them not lasting long. If you spend a lot of money on an item you aren't always guaranteed a good long lasting product. So risking from paying £500 to over £2000 is a very big risk for us, and as for not being able to increase the payments over a longer time period than 30 months was a little displeasing. Although the bed cover that lasts for 8 years and costs £160 for both the bed and the mattress seemed a no brainier. Considering no bed and mattress has lasted us more than a few years in the past, the fact you cover it for this long was very reassuring about the quality of your products. However another minor displeasing issue was the sales assistants computer wasn't giving us a date and time for delivery. So we were getting all worked up to accept our new bed and mattress into our home only to keep our anticipation suspended. However this is not necessary a bad thing as I suppose its something to look forward to and the sales assistant has promised to keep us updated. Also we don't need to worry about the repayments until after we've received it either, which is a nice bonus.

the kettering branch didn't seem very welcoming and Madeline, the member of staff we initially met with and discussed our requirements with didn't seem to listen very well and her knowledge was evidently lacking

I believe that it was the best quality that you could deliver from your side. I am new to the country and was kind of lost among so many choices. Maybe it felt a little stressful while selecting stuff. My first choice of bed wasn't available for 5 weeks, therefore I had to go for the temporary option which could deliver me a bed in two weeks. Other than that this definitely is a "Highly Satisfied"!!!

The wait time for the mattress was longer than preferred and cost of delivery and taking our old one away was quite high

Having spent £959 on a super King mattress I would of expected a free deliver. This was not down to the store I visited but company policy. I think purchases over a certain threshold should be delivered free.

My only dissatisfaction was the excessive cost of delivery and charge for taking away the old mattress. Of course we expected to pay for delivery but the additional cost of £78 for an item that clearly can't be taken home in a car is outrageous. Companies who make charges like this have to answer for some of the fly-tipping that blights our countryside. For this reason we would definitely shop around more next time. We think these charges should be clearly displayed or explained BEFORE a mattress/bed is chosen. We are retired and didn't have the energy to go elsewhere but would feel compelled to warn friends off your hidden charges, hence our scoring on this field. Staff were exceptionally good, both in store and delivery but regrettably this doesn't outweigh my feelings towards the £78, which amounted to an additional 20% + on the cost.
