Dreams - Gloucester

We received exemplary service from Jay at the Gloucester store. Was so refreshing to deal with someone who obviously thrived on customer satisfaction. We went into the store without any real product knowledge and not knowing what we were looking for. Jay was excellent at building rapport and assessing our needs. He sympathised with my wife who had been struggling to sleep due to back pain caused by our existing mattress. Our first choice was not available for delivery for 4 weeks, this was the only negative of our visit. However, Jay managed to find a suitable alternative with a shorter wait for delivery. He is a credit to your company.

Friendly staff not pushy

The experience overall was very good, from the moment we walked in, we were greeted! Our sales person made us feel at ease, by asking the appropriate questions and giving us the perfect amount of help, his product knowledge was excellent and guided us to the perfect mattress. There was no pressure on us to make the purchase, but we were confident with the bed we wanted and purchased a fantastic mattress. One thing we really liked about the sales person is the clear communication he used and always telling us what he is doing and what to do next!

The Sales assistance offered was extremely well balanced - there when we needed it, very clear and unbiased advice about options to meet our needs. Given time without any pressure to consider the options and when we had decided the service was exemplary and we had excellent value. Jay the person who assisted us through out made us feel our satisfaction was the most important thing for him and was a great ambassador for Dreams. We have already shared our experience with some friends and two are acting on it this week.

Jay was extremely helpful and listened to what my requirements were. After hearing my "mattress horror story" he was able to tell me why certain mattresses were not good for me. He knew exactly which beds to show me and didn't try to 'flog' me the most expensive brand. He made me test out the mattresses properly and explained why some mattresses were more comfortable than others. He didn't rush the sale and didn't pressurise me into buying anything. As a result of his high quality service, I decided to buy the bed without looking at any other nearby bed shops!

My husband and I were looking for a mattress that would give support to our backs. Jay, the assistant was very knowledgeable and gave us good advise to help us choose the correct mattress. We also purchased a Tempur Cloud Pillow to help ease the pressure from my neck.

When we arrived and was looking around Shaun came to us and introduced himself and asked if we needed assistance, we explained what we wanted. He gave us some guidance and then gave us some time and space to look around on our own. Just as we would have been looking for him he was there to check if we needed further help. He helped us choose our mattress and then we completed the purchase. He was polite, very clear in his description and advice and we found him very helpful which was much appreciated. I have recommend Shaun to my son who will be visiting the Gloucester store tomorrow.

UPON ARRIVING IN STORE MYSELF AND MY PARTNER WERE LOOKING TO PURCHASE A MATTRESS TOPPER AS OUR PREVIOUS MATTRESS WAS BECOMING A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE DURING MY LATER STAGES OF PREGNANCY. SHAUN APPROACHED US AND ADVISED US OF THE DIFFERENT COLOUR BANDS OVER THE BEDS AND EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHICH COLOUR HE THOUGHT WOULD SUIT US BEST GIVEN THE FACT IM PREGNANT. SHAUN THEN ALLOWED US TO BROWSE AT OUR OWN PACE. WE APPROACHED SHAUN AND ASKED IF THEY SOLD MATTRESS TOPPERS AND EXPLAINED THE REASON WHY WE NEEDED ONE. SHAUN QUICKLY IDENTIFIED THE ISSUE WITH OUR CURRENT MATTRESS AND TOLD US THAT THE PROPBLEM WOULD RETURN WITHIN 6-12 MONTHS. A BETTER INVESTMENT WOULD BE TO PURCHASE A NEW MATTRESS. SHAUN SHOWED US A VARITY OF MATTRESS'S THAT SUITED OUR NEEDS AND BUDGET, HOWEVER JUST DIDNT FEEL RIGHT, SHAUN THEN SHOWER US THE TEMPUR ORIGINAL 21 AND EXPLAINED THAT THESE PRODUCTS ARE DESIGNED TO LAST, WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT AND ASKED THAT THE PRICE, SHAUN WENT AWAY AND RETURNED TO STATE THEY HAD 2 SUPERKING IN STOCK IN THE WAREHOUSE ONE OF WHICH THEY DIDNT REALLY REQUIRE AND COULD DO A CLEARANCE PRICE, £900 DISCOUNT WAS OFFERED AND WE ACCEPTED :)

I found the staff to be very helpful, they didn't hassle you when you walked in. They explained a few things then left you to wander around which I like. Being continually hassled makes me walk out. I found the prices to be very competitive and there was a great selection of beds. The staff were very efficient when dealing with my order and did not pressure me into buying what I didn't need.
