We felt Louise and Shaun were extremely understanding and helpful in providing us the information and knowledge needed for us to make a decision on a bed frame and mattress. I would highly recommend speaking with one of those two employees

James was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He was also really good with our 4 year old son, keeping him occupied while we used the sleep match machine

James offered help but was not pushy. He was inquisitive and ensured he understood what we needed, he helped us use the computer and then helped us try a number of mattresses. He gave us a drink whilst we decided what mattress we would by and then ordering was very quick. My husband liked the pillow he used in all the beds we tried so much he bought one to go with the new bed. James provides very knowledgable service.

In this world of price matching, you decide where you want to buy from first, select the product you want to buy next, research for the best price available from all stores and then try and persuade your chosen store to provide what you want at the best price. As far as beds, we've had good experiences at Dreams, Furniture Village and John Lewis, so these were our chosen stores. Shaun at Dreams in Gloucester, together with the Sleepmatch system, swayed our decision to go with Dreams - it wasn't quite the best price and we couldn't get an exact price match, but it was close enough to feel like the best value for money. We specifically went back to the store to deal with Shaun; however, most of his colleagues were all very helpful and respectful of the salesman we had been dealing with, i.e. there was not a back-stabbing culture and that made us feel like valued customers to the Dreams business not "easy prey" to a salesman looking for commission.

Shaun was very helpful when we visited the store a few weeks prior to our visit to order. He was knowledgable but not overbearing and gave us ample time to chat alone without feeling pressured. He gave us all the information we needed to go away and think about the mattress purchase. When we returned to the store we specifically asked to see him and when he remembered us it made the whole ordering process much easier. He at no point tried to up sell the mattress although we did appreciate his help choosing mattress protectors and pillow. Overall he was the reason we returned to this store as a personal touch with an expensive purchase is much better than just ordering online!
