Dreams - Croydon

Sorry I don't give highly satisfied on surveys. I was content with the service

Our overall experience in store was great. The service was really good and we were very happy with the products we ordered. It's since then - it's gone a bit down hill. So, we purchased a mid sleeper for our daughter for our new home which is currently being renovated. We were very specific as to when we wanted it to be delivered, so it was booked on Friday 15th, as this is when my wife is off. Then we receive a phone call from a company called 'Kids Avenue' to say that they were delivering the bed on Monday 11th between 6.30am - 8.30am. When I queried this with them, they said they were independent and to ignore the delivery date we was quoted from Dreams. As far as I was concerned, we bought the bed from Dreams and had no idea about this other company until this phone call. But we agreed and even arranged childcare for our daughter as we are currently not living in the house. Then the delivery didn't turn up due to the snow and is rescheduled for Saturday 16th. There just seems to be a fundamental disconnect between what we were told in store and what has actually happened. I feel like we shouldn't of been promised a delivery spot you could not fulfill.

The store was quite busy on a rainy Saturday afternoon so we had to wait a short time to speak to someone.

We made an expensive purchase at Dreams, however, the system kept buffering while we were placing the order and it took us over 45 mins. I was really tired and bored by the end of it. It isn't the fault with Dreams, it was the system's fault.

As I said, we expected to be able to walk into the Reigate store and buy a mattress with medium firmness. There were two or three for us to try but none of them was completely suitable for our needs. The assistant tried very hard to show us something suitable on the Dreams website but found the selection process impossible. Although she classified our needs each time, lots of unsuitable mattresses were listed on each screen. Consequently, she recommended the nearest Dreams which is at Croydon. This is a tedious journey for us, traffic wise, but it had to be made. I am answering the survey for both branches as it was all part of our experience with Dreams.

The price for this package is expensive, but if you like a certain product sometimes you have no option but to try and purchase item, obviously I couldn't afford to buy outright so finance is only option, the valley park store is clean airy,well presented and stocked for display, Barrett served me and was very pleasant for this purchase, this is my 2nd purchase within the last year and a half, purchasing from dreams in SE London area last time. Short summary, not so happy with price for this but happy with products.

Wanted more of a discount!

I was not given a delivery time scale or date in which the product to be delivered - having spent a considerable sum for the items I would have expected to be quoted a date

Highly satisfied could be little over expression Expressing satisfied is the best way !!
