Firstly when I visited store - I was referred to use on line - then when I wanted to change order was told to go back to store who then put me onto customer service agent who didn't know if I could have refund on the mattress which had not been deluvered and as I was buying a bigger bed & mattress this was frustrating - the store manager was very helpful and called another agent & helped me make a choice so providing I do get a refund I will be happy

Friday deliveries were only available fortnightly therefore we had to alter required date.

We went to john lewis before and the assistant seemed to demonstrate a limitless amount of knowledge about every mattress they had. They went into extreme depth with showing the materials, allowing us to feel said materials and explaining why a mattress would not be a good fit. The service wasn't bad by any means, it was just john lewis was head and above better and they went beyond the extra mile. Not to discredit deryck he did a great job, just the john lewis experience felt more personalised, had we not visited john lewis before it would of been a highly satisfied. Dreams was also better than all the other places we visited (bar john lewis) and the pricing was the most competitive. Also given the need for the bed urgently the delivery time was a bit bad ikea and john lewis would of had it all delivered within 7 days so that was the only other reason why it was not marked as highly satisfied, again nothing wrong with deryck his personality was amazing and made us feel warm and welcomed.

After speaking to one assistant who was very helpful and then left for a break I approached another assistant and explained my needs. He took me to one of the most expensive mattresses in the store. I didn’t mind spending the money but he only showed me one and not a range. I walked around myself And spoke to another assistant Deryck who was helpful and I placed my order with him.
