Dreams - Croydon

We went out today to look for a new mattress but wasn't sure what type would suit us best as I have a few problems with my back and neck. The assistant took his time to explain the different types of mattresses available so we could make an informed choice that met our needs. We were not rushed and all our concerns, such as weight of the mattress when lifting to make the bed, were listened to and we were shown alternatives if we were unsure. We tested several mattresses, returning to some for a second evaluation before narrowing our possibilities to just two mattresses. Even then, the assistant suggested other options for us to consider. We were also asked if we would like refreshments during our visit, making us feel welcome and once again, unrushed. All in all, a very pleasant shopping experience.

The man who helped us was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about he took the time to go through the different kinds of beds we were looking for without being pushy and understood what we wanted he was very friendly and a great member of staff with a great attitude

Our purchase was a combination of two visits. Our first visit on bank holiday was to get a feel of the products available and gain some knowledge on what we were looking for. We received assistance and guidance and were given time to try out different mattresses. It was a comforting experience without being pushed too hard but our assistance was on hand to answer any questions we had. The Dreams 40 night guarantee was also really important to us and we were comforted knowing about the exchange policy. We felt that the assistant was honest and genuine and after thinking it over for two weeks, we were happy enough to return to the store to purchase our Vitality gel mattress. Even though we were spending a lot of money and making a big purchase, it felt safe to do this with Dreams based on our two visits.

I was purchasing a bed for my mom who is in hospital currently. I explained to Darren the assistant what I was looking for (Divan, total height with mattress of 20" and soft mattress. We measured some bases and he suggested the lowest divan available and then suggested memory foam as a soft mattress. He was very helpful and we worked out what would suit my mum best.

Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly sales assistant and the opportunity to take as much time as we needed to decide on our purchase. We were also offered a cup of coffee which was nice.

The service was excellent and the choice of beds within the store was also superb. The Dreams colleague, Charles, who helped with this important purchase had extensive knowledge of all products and was able to explain the difference between the choice of beds I had selected to view. I had full confidence in his ability which assisted me greatly with my purchase. He was able to answer all questions fully providing me with enough information to ensure I made an informed purchase. I have already recommended both the store and Charles to a friend for their forthcoming bed purchase. Prior to visiting the Dreams store I had attended a well known high street super store at the same location where the service was inferior to that provided by Dreams.

I dealt with 2 members of staff on 2 separate visits. Both staff were very friendly and helpful. Liked the coffee too. Between visits, I went to John Lewis to look at beds, but their lack of staff meant I returned to Dreams and bought from you.

The assistants listened to us and helped as choose the product most suited to our needs.

I was assisted by Diane, very friendly and knowledgable, she offered sound advice and listened to my requirements. The mattress to try were on display and were easy to try out. No pressured selling techniques and honest answers.
