On arrival we was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff member (deyrick)We also had our one-year old with us. I was quite anxious about how his walking around the shop would be recieved. How ever our assistant was amazing with him, entertaining him whilst my partner and I tested mattresses. We were also offer hot drinks along with hot water for the babies bottle. Deyrick was so knowledgeable and made the whole experience a dream.

We saw an Ottoman we wanted in one of your stores (that was closed at the time), but made a note of the item. Whilst in Croydon we visited the store to see if there were other Ottoman types and in other colours (from the one we saw previously in your Reigate store window). The sales assistant was helpful from the start, showing us the 3 ranges available and a pallet of colours of the style we wanted. We were then very quickly able to order the style / colour. The only issue was we could have delivery on Friday 4 October (1 week later) but you were unable to give an approximate time slot (say 2 hr window) nor could we request an Am or PM. As we would be out on part of that day we had to choose a Saturday at an additional cost!! which is very disappointing. also we are still unable to choose a time slot (which you can do at many stores (including Next) which is also very annoying. Having to pay extra for a Sat delivery and not being able to choose a delivery time slot was the only bad experience and one that we would take into account when ordering other items in the future, such as a new bed.

I moved from Glasgow to London, needed a new bed. Visited the Birkenshaw store in Uddingston first, did the Sleepmatch machine there (amazing!), was assisted by Jon on one visit and manager Margaret on another. Both phenomenal product knowledge, fantastic service. That cemented the fact that I wanted to buy from Dreams. Visited the Croydon store on arrival in London and was assisted by Deryk. Again brilliant service, very friendly and the whole transaction was nice and smooth. Only piece of constructive feedback would be regarding delivery timescales. I did order a Superking so understand availability would naturally be lower, but a 3.5 week wait seems a little excessive (I don’t have a bed currently!) Again not a complaint, just some constructive feedback. Would still recommend Dreams but nowadays it’s possible to have a mattress delivered online within 1-3 days so that might pull some customers away.
