I love Cafe Rio. Today I tried the tamales and I definitely recommend them!! They are so good!!

Best sweet pork!! One thing that I may consider not satisfying is that their scoop of guacamole is a very tiny serving on the side of the meal and gets charged for more than a dollar.

I did not receive enough rice with my veggie salad- the staff is always too cheap on the servings of rice- especially considering I have no meat & no beans on my salad.

In love with Cafe Rio's sweet pork! The line is always long during my visit, took total of 25 mins the moment I entered the restaurant till I finished paying for my order. Not bad for that really really long line. Once they got the order, it gets lightning fast so I'm not complaining. I heard crews in CA used to sing or shout out in cheer when there's a free meal or just in random. Doing that would make the atmosphere better and probably will improve staff's overall mood, not that they're grumpy or something. I understand they're very busy but it would make the place livelier.

Love the food. If only it weren't as fattening I would eat there everyday.
