I have had 4 prior appointments with Hand & Stone. My appointment with Shelly was amazing. She knew all of my very stressed muscles and I have not had a massage that great in years. From a customer satisfaction point, my previous appoints were never a full hour and I was disappointed by that. I will continue to see Shelly on a regular basis.

I absolutely love Sandy and all she has done for me. She is so well versed in her profession and very friendly and caring. She goes out of her way to make me feel relaxed and comfortable and always takes into consideration my lifestyle and stress levels when determining the extent of my appointment. I recommend her to everyone I talk to.

I see a variety of therapists and all have been very effective in helping my neck pain. I have been to the other massage chains in the area and H&S is the best.

My facial and the esthetician, Saria,were wonderful! She is so professional, thorough and explains things well. She is also so pleasant and easy to talk to. I was very happy with with my facial. Unfortunately, when I went to the cash to leave a gratuity, I was told I owed $9.99 for the facial. I had a gift card in the amount of $120.00 and when I made the appointment on the phone, I was told the facial is $129.00 and that since my gift card was $120.00, a note would be put in the computer that would say I would not be charged the difference. When I explained this to the staff person at the desk, he said there was no note in the computer. I explained that the conversation happened when I made the appointment and I would appreciate it if this was honored, but again, he said he couldn't do anything to resolve the issue. I asked if it was noted who I took my call when I made the appointment and he said it was with the manager, Daria. It did not occur to him to contact the manager to resolve this (even though he had texted her right before my appointment about a separate question involving where a truck advertising the store should park). I found this to be poor customer service. I received an email from the store asking for feedback which I provided on 11/16. I listed the above concern, but I have not heard back yet. I am not upset about the $10 charge, it was more the way the staff member handled the situation. This was a disappointing end to an otherwise great experience.

The front desk clerk in the Bedford Mass store ( Emily ) was very friendly accommodating. Esthetician Maria completed my daughters 1st facial for her 16th birthday. Excellent overall experience !!!
