I love the Cal Neva! It's old and grungy but that's part of its charm. I do ALL of my gambling here because the tables are cheap and they have karaoke on weekends, which just makes the atmosphere more fun and people at the tables bond over the horrible singing. I like that I can see the same dealers over and over again because it feels familiar. Their prime rib is fabulous, their hot dogs are fabulous, their $3 blackjack is fabulous, and it's just a fabulous good time at the Neva every time.

We frequent Cal Neva every time we're in Reno and we love it. It's not a super clean and sparkly place but that's part of why we love it. Dealers are usually pretty nice and friendly.
