I don't normally go on and complain about situations that go on, and usually my experience with Big O' Tires isn't a negative outcome. But yesterday, I brought my car in for an alignment and asked how long it would take, and I was told 2-3 hours. I was hesitant and expressed that but decided to get it done, even though I had my sick kid with me. I wandered around the other shops for 3 hours and even though I didn't get a call decided to walk back, I figured it was pretty close to being done. When I got to the shop, I asked the guy in front how much longer, and he told me they hadn't even gotten to my car and there's still 2 cars ahead of me. No apologies from him, no explanation, he was pretty apathetic. Even after I told him I couldn't wait another 2 hours for the other 2 cars, no apology. He just went and grabbed my keys and that was it. Extremely rude, not even considering I just wasted 3 hours wandering around for absolutely nothing. He made me feel like I'm wrong for not waiting and I was being inconsiderate. I really wish in the beginning he would've said 4-5 hours. Or at some point called me to let me know it was going to be longer than expected. Front desk should know and be aware of the customers on stand by or have a some what accurate time frame. I was so upset, since I could've done so many other valuable things in those 3 hours that I lost, I told my family members I won't be back. Although I get my oil change there all the time, amongst other things. If your front desk staff would've been more sympathetic and even a little considerate and spoke to me with just a little respect, I probably would've left being a little more understanding rather than upset. I'm referring to the shop at 5130 Mae Anne Ave, Reno, NV 89523.

It is important to know that not only do I live close to the Big o store, in the past I have dropped off my vehicle and walked home, and in the past years we have used Big O several times for many things. We bought a new FJ last year , and my husband wanted new tires. So just July 16th , my husband went it. The deplorable way he was treated was a previous email complaint. After he went and spent $1200 at another shop for tires, we decided we needed tires for my car. After shopping around Big O had the tire cheaper than anyone else. My husband went in July 30th and talked to them about 4 tires and a alignment. The tires were not in stock, so Monday morning they promised to call. I would take my car in, get the tires and the alignment. MOnday morning came, 8am, 9am, 10am. I called and told them that my husband had "ordered" tires and you were supposed to call when they were in. The guy put me on hold to check, 15 minutes later I hung up. At 11am I called again, Brittany answered. Brittany was able to find my name, address, but not tire details. She put me on hold. 10 minutes later I hung up. After 12 I called, and Travis answered. Travis told me "I had a note on my desk when I got back from lunch" The tires didn't make it on the truck. It will have to be tomorrow". So I hung up. After considering the sheer lack of follow up, follow through or customer concern that these employees at this location seem to have I decided I will not give another chance. I called back, asked for a manger, and Travis got on the phone. I explained my husband's past experience and the experience I was having. He says, "I'm sorry, you know we are always trying to do our 110% but things happen". He also apologized for being on hold as the girl was "newer". No Travis, not one employee there did 50 percent of what they said they would do. Nor did they do what they should have done. In less than 3 weeks this store missed out on almost $2000 worth of tires and services. Maybe it is time to train them that their job is customer service?

Awful horrible terrible these guys don't listen. What is worse is the cocky attitude. They forgot about my car. I came back two hours later to discover they forgot me. They then lied, which was obvious. The guy told me some made up story about a broken part in their shop. They then worked on my car. I came in for an oil change and a tire rotation. They did a rush job. Several employees came up to me to apologize about the wait. Had they been honest from the beginning it would've been easier to swallow. This is not the first time this is happened. I will not be back .

Chuck and his team really know how to leave your vehicle's interior Dirtier and Grimier than when you brought it in. Plan to have plenty of Armour All interior cleaner and a roll of paper towels to clean after they have left their grease smudges and hand grime on the steering wheel, door handles, shifter, and even the fold down visor. Oh, and if your need strut replacement work, they won't tell ahead that the back seat contents will be on display in their grimed work area and will be sure to leave their footprints all over the inside of your vehicle. Pigs are cleaner than Chuck's crew. Lastly, if you complain and tell them to be more respectful of your vehicle's interior, well just expect the worst, because it will be dirtier on your next visit, guaranteed.

I went into the store for an alignment. They said I needed what amounted to a compete front end rebuild. New upper and lower ball, joints on both sides, inner and outer tie rods on both sides, etc, etc. I told them that thats funny because the ball joints had been replaced recently, they said well we don't know. What was wrong with my cars was one outer tie rod needed to be replaced and the wheel hub assembiles on both sides needed to be torqued down. Big O gave me an estimate of around $2400 dollars. I replaced the outer tie rod and tightened the wheel hub assembiles. Did not cost me even $40. I would never tell a friend to go to Big O. Go ahead and call me a liar and I don't know what I am talking about but it was obvious the store tryed to rip me off.

Took my car in Saturday morning at 7:30 am for an oil change and tire rotation. Was told it would be an hour to an hour and 15 minutes before it would be ready. I came back after 1 hour and my car hadn't even been moved. I was told it would be next to get started but I said I had to get to work so the cashier handed me my keys and I left. There was no sincere apology, just more of a flippant one.

Twice a failure for customer service. Employees are rude. This was my 2ND attempt at putting new tires on plus an alignment. Completely disappointing. Tires never came and no follow up plus the rudeness and zero common courtesy to add. The girl that works there really is the worst. Horrible customer service skills. Hate this establishment needless to say.

This is the last time I will ever go to Big O Tires. I have had many issues over the years such as Big O putting a belt on wrong, telling me i need a air filter when I had one replaced less than 1000 miles ago/ they apologized when I stood there as they pulled it out & said oh wow this looks new sorry about that, telling me my windshield washer pump was broken when they just didn't know how to use it, putting on my snow tires & supposedly not noticing a nail through the side wall of my normal tires so when I went in spring to switch the tires back they found it when they where taking the big o plastic wrap off & putting the tires on?? I ended paying $600 in tires that day which they should have noticed when they initially took the tires off, plus other issues. Maddie is a poor customer service rep & has been rude to me many times. I used to return because Mark would fix everything quickly & pleasantly. Yesterday my tire was leaking & I called before I came in as I was in a hurry. I specifically asked if this would be quick & not 45 mins to an hour. Makayla said yes we're not busy we'll get you in & out. I was there almost an hour, charged $25 (when I buy my tires there & have had multiple services on all my vehicles over the last 4 years there - but this car I traded in so the tires aren't from you). I asked for a discount or the fee waived as I planned on buying my next set of tires from you by my next oil change. Also I had just the prior week when I was in for an oil change asked for a quote for my 30,000 mile services. In addition, I watched my truck sit there for over 10 mins w employees & the manager chuck just chatting. The girl inside could see my irritation at that time & went to check- said they were just resetting the sensor. I paid, walked outside, waited, followed the driver to my car as they pulled it into a space, asked him to leave it running & tried to take off. My car was giving me a emergency light because Big O didn't shut my rear door completely after resetting the sensor. Poor customer service all around & im the idiot who came back. Never again! I was just going to spend $1000+ in the next couple months, have been a loyal customer for years & you take almost an hour & charge me $25 to take a nail from my tire. No customer appreciation & disregard to loyal customers. Les Schwab would have done it for free & in 15 mins.

I went in to get an oil change and have them check my brakes because they were squeaking a lot. Upon returning to pick up my car, I was told that I had half of all my brake pads left, that everything was fine; that the squeaking was most likely "dust." One month later, I heard a terrible grinding noise, so I stopped at a different, well-trusted mechanic, and he showed me how my brakes were metal-on-metal. Metal on metal! The pads in both back tires were completely gone!! And one side of my front right tire was misaligned. Not only do I need new break pads now, but I have to replace several other parts. What should have been easily avoided and cost a couple hundred dollars to fix is now costing over $1,500!!!! These people do not know what they are doing and you should NOT trust them.

I have had professional services with Big O Tires for around 7 years for my oil changes to my 2003 Toyota Highlander. From the first time at your MaeAnne Avenue, my experience with it's employees has been quite professional, welcoming and efficient. These are awesome traits and is greatly appreciated!!!!! Thank you Big O Tires!!!
