I've been coming to the Ankeny location for several years. I recently bought four new tires a few months ago and the service was good. I took my1996 Cadillac Deville in for a flat repair. I left the store and had a bad feeling so I pulled over to a local gas station and I find a pretty good sized screw still stuck in my tire. I was speechless to see that it had not been fixed. I took a picture of the screw in my tire then went back to the tire store. I showed the guy behind the counter the photo on my phone and he said what is that. I said that is the screw that was never taken out of my tire. So they removed the screw and needless to say I was extremely mad at that point. I asked him to print me off a ticket saying what was done and he did. I went to leave and I didn't get a sorry sir or any sort of an apology. I said thank you I appreciate it and he looked and me and just said yep. I probably won't be back to the store after being treated like that.

I have directional tires. Unbeknownst to me the front two wheels were mounted with the tires facing the wrong direction. I drove 170 miles from Ankeny to Omaha, Nebraska at a high rate of speed assuming all was well. I stopped to wash the bugs off my car and noticed the discrepancy. I drove to Discount tire and they corrected the issue at no cost to me. Pretty surprising since they are not affiliated with Big O Tires.

The guys and gals here are always upbeat and willing to answer any question I have! The wait times are reasonable, especially since they are always busy! I appreciate them checking in on me since I always have to wait and always cracking a few jokes to keep the environment fun and upbeat!

The store tired to sell me parts I didn't need because they didn't know how to trouble shoot the problem properly. They were just trying to throw parts at it until it got fixed.

Staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable. We got in and out on a busy afternoon. Will certainly be coming back to Big O's!

I have one complaint...the valve stems didn't get replaced with a brand new set of 4 tires. I've been driving for 3 months with new tires that slowly leak air... Sad

I'm highly disappointed in the service I received at big o tires. "The team you trust" (what a joke) I went in for an allignment and I know stuff can be bad to drive the price up. I was pressured into buying 4 tires because I gave up arguing with the sales person. The tires were fine to last until next winter. I work with tires for a living! Then they claimed I needed brakes, they only said the front disk breaks were bad and they didn't mention the life or quaility of the back drum breaks, my guess is y'all make more off disk than drums. Even tho I got those cheap tires with a three year warranty at big o. I'm taking all my cars to other places for service and I will tell my friends, "don't go to big o" Oh and at my tire job, I've fix some of your mistakes. I was skeptical going in and I should have listened to that voice in my head.

The service manager who helped me was very friendly and explained everything in an easy to understand way. He went out of his way to come up with a solution that worked for me and my budget. I was there for quite a bit longer than I expected but I am still very pleased with the results and will be going back in the future.

Had an appointment. They were 40 minutes late getting g my car in with any apology or explanation. Did not go over anything after the service. The one was more worried about talking to a customer about private matters

I got an all-wheel alignment at big-o, or so I thought. My car felt the same as it did before and when I took it to the dealership it was not within the proper specs. Not even close. I did not get a print out of the alignment after they finished and it's no wonder why. I won't be coming back. The customer service at the front desk was good, but what's that matter when they don't do the work?

Bill and his crew took very good care of my tire needs when I walked in and asked questions. They made recommendations and let me choose which level of tire best suited my budget. I will definitely be back to this store for other vehicle maintenance needs!

I'm glad you asked. I was disappointed, but usually won't take the time to contact anyone. The gentlemen at the desk were friendly and nice. They greeted me warmly and said they had time to service my car. I asked for an oil change and check air in front right tire since a warning light said it was low. I went to lunch at Chili's and they called about 40 mins later and said my car was ready. As I paid I asked if they reset my maint reminder alert. He said probably not and followed me to my car to reset it. After thumbing the controls on my steering wheel for a minute he flipped through the owners manual for another minute and finally said he couldn't find it be he would research it and said call him if I couldn't figure it out. hahaha, thanks for nothing I guess. Then I notice the alert was still on for my tire and I asked if they checked it. He said "yes" they did so I thought to myself we just needed to reset that alert as well. Later that night I check the air-pressure and found it still low. I aired it up and its been holding air since Tuesday, so now I know they simply did not check it and then lied about it. So those are just little things that I would normally chalk up to lazy workers and let it go. The thing that really pissed me off and the root my dissatisfaction is they must have spilled a bunch of oil on my engine as I've been smelling it burn off for the last 4 days now...pisses me off every time I get in my car. This is the kind of thing that will cause me to take my 4 cars elsewhere if if its less convenient. Let me finish by letting you know I don't complain about anything. I'm much too busy to spend time writing this to you, but since you provided a forum I felt you needed to know. If it were my business I would want to know. sincerely, Phil

The overall repair was great but then about a day or so later I realized I was double charged. Called the store who reached out to their management team who were less than helpful. I was told by the store that I was not double charged that it must be something with my bank despite me providing proof the double charge did occur. We are talking over $800! What if I didn't have the funds to cover the duplicate charge? My bank has proof that the merchant being the store requested payment twice. How can you do this to your customers? Bill the gentleman who helped me did a great job and I thought for sure you would have my repeat buisness. I refuse to spend another dime at an buissness that can make this kind of mistake and not own up to and help get it fixed. You wasted my time and couldn't even speak to any management to get this fixed. You simply cannot treat people like this

Needed tires quickly before leaving to Chicago. Got me in and out quickly before I was scheduled to leave. Very friendly.
