My wife brought our vehicle there for an oil change and tire rotation. When they rotated the tires who ever tighted the lug nuts on my front tires on the passenger side had at least 3 of them way too tight that it caused my rotors to begin warping. This is really concerning to me because if it is done to me how many other people are getting poor service like this.

I was referred to Big O Tires by my parents in Nebraska. I was treated so well and they stand behind their products and I won't ever go anywhere else. The Ankeny employees are so nice, friendly and even humorous. They really treated me like part of the family. A+ to Big O Tires. I just can't say enough good things about them.

This is the third time that I have brought one of our family vehicles into the Big O Tire in Ankeny only to drive away and still have the same problem ... nothing fixed. This time it was a pressure sensor in the front right tire. I was told that the air pressure sensor was broken and paid $115.75 to have it replaced. I have driven the vehicle for two days now and the low air pressure light will not go off. To be honest ... I've been bringing my cars to Big O Tires for a least 10 years but I am having some serious doubts of where I should consider remaining at Big O Tire.

No disrespect intended but it took 1 hr 40 minutes for a tire rotation. I found out later that they had locked themselves out of my pickup when programming the tires using the key fob. I think the guys were trying to figure out another way to get into my pick up but then they finally asked me if I had a spare key . Which I did have the key with a magnetic base so we got in . If I was the manager I would want to know this happened when I was away on vacation no disrespect and I'm not complaining just passing on information . Brad Lester

We had a nail in one of our Big O tires. The staff worked us right in and we were out in less than an hour. Fast and courteous service.

I will be back in today to discuss with you guys, but I was extremely angry at the condition of my brand new car when I got it back from you guys. I have damage to at least 3 of my wheels and I have a scratch across the top of my hood from what appears to be an air hose dragged across it. This is in addition to the tire installation wax being found on one of the doors and in 2 spots on windows, a mark from a yellow wax pen on one of the doors, and tire scuff marks on all 4 fenders above the wheel wells. It also looked as if something was put on the hood and then wiped off as the dust on the hood has been wiped off for some reason. The car hadn't been washed and I'm sure you're aware that wiping a dry paint surface of dust is very bad for paint. Keep in mind that this car was less than a week old and had 239 miles on it when I brought it in and now it has damage that will need to be repaired. Like I said, I will be in today (11/26) to discuss. This damage was discovered the evening of 11/21 after you had already closed and I left down on Thursday (Thanksgiving). I've left this information, along with pictures, with your Facebook page but have not received any acknowledgement of my message beyond the first one asking if someone was available. I came in for an oil change, inspection, top of fluids and tire rotation. Everything seemed to go well when I left however I did notice some grease on my door handle but figured it wasn't that bad. I stopped at the store on the way home and noticed my front wheels had brake dust on them which indicated the tires hadn't been rotated. I'm not sure if this is normal practice for those that wouldn't notice but it's poor service. I called in to confirm and the manager did state the truck didn't make it to the tire rotation bay even though it was there an hour. He offered for me to stop back in but ultimately I don't have time to mess with another appointment.

The following review is with regard to a car that we recently purchased together with my son for his remaining college years: The first business dealing went very well.New tires and an alignment.The staff took the time to show me the computer graphic of the misalignment on the front end.The alignment required additional work after a personal road test.The car kept straight down the road, however the steering wheel was off center, pointing to one o'clock..Alignment cost:$79.99.My second road test found that the alignment/steering wheel correction was done well and too my complete satisfaction. The second visit was very disappointing.I replaced the two front struts and rear shocks which required an additional alignment.My son made the appointment online and took the car in for service.He was completely unaware of the initial alignment cost when Big O chose to charge an additional 50% on the cost of the alignment ($119.95 plus $9.60 in shop supplies) since 'we' installed the new parts.Installing struts and shocks is not rocket science.$9.60 in shop supplies - really?For what?There were no parts to replace.The initial visit's shop supply fee was actually less at $8.80 on a total bill of $433.28. The alignment was not done well, as the car pulled to right even at slow speed.I called the store and scheduled an additional visit to have this corrected.The staff explained that the result of this alignment failure was due to only some of the front end parts being replaced.Why was this not a problem before the first alignment? The end result is that the car is aligned fairly well, however the steering wheel is now off center again.I'll have to bring the car in a third time to have this corrected.

I received online quote for 4 continental true contact 235/60R17 at $126 each. Called and scheduled an install appt for 1 /6/17. Olay this time I requested a detailed quote including all fees and the employee said someone would call me back. They never did, and when I arrived on 1/6/17 at 7:00am they did not have any tires for me. They spent four days finding the tires and now they were going to cost $136.99 each. I agreed and scheduled install for 1/13/17. When I checked out I was shocked to discover that the bill was $923.45. I was charged $15 per tire shipping. So now my $126 tires cost $151.99; an increase of $100 This has all left a very sour taste in my mouth and I will warn everyone to avoid Big-O in Ankeny.

We paid far more than normal for an oil change and tire rotation and come to find out they didn't even do the tire rotation so now it was just a very expensive oil change. I have always had the best service and quality work done at this location, but disappointed they dropped the ball this time.

Only gave two stars because it hasn't fallen off yet. I had a blowout and went in looking for a mount and balance. They kept trying to sell me stuff I didn't ask for. My front tires have 24k miles and he insisted on replacing them even though they still have decent tread left.

Representative was awesome in getting the issue with my TPMS sensor addressed. Due to the fact that the wheel manufacture sent a bad sensor, the store representative was kind enough to allow me to obtain a replacement from my wheel manufacture and the Big O installed the part. I was blown away with the customer service and attention to detail

When I picked up my car there was a mechanical dent on the driver side of the car near the front tire. This dent was not located there before I took it in for service. I talked to the service manager about it and he said to call back when his boss was back in the office. I took photos of the dent before I drove the car away.

Bill was very very friendly and helpful. I am so glad he was there when I walked in. My car was shaking and didn't know what was wrong. Bill let me know my tires were worn out and he then helped me get new tires. My car drives like new again! I will be going for my oil change too. Thanks again Bill I appreciate your help! Great customer service!
