Big O Tires

Would really like to give them fives all the way across but when I have a 11 appointment in my vehicle doesn't get in until almost 1 there's a problem had I known we would have figured something out different that day instead of sitting there for over 3 hours I have a bad back and knees surgery on both do not like sitting for 3 hours other than that great group of guys excellent knowledge on tires and price is very compatible thank you

I normally go with Firestone to get tires since my brothers works at the factory. I decided to try Big O Tires for the first time, because I saw a decent brand of tire for an affordable price. Matt Hayner helped me, and had to go to another Big O Tire to get the tires I needed since they were out. He took the time to get me a decent deal on the tires I wanted. We forgot my oil change, but I'm pretty sure it was because he was trying to ensure I got a good price on my tires and to locate some. I ended up coming back to get my oil changed, and another two gentleman helped me (I believe his name was Chris and can't remember the other). They were able to get my car in within the hour or so, and I was on my way. Appreciate the time, dedication that the gentlemen took to ensure I received a good deal and in a quick time. They made my first impression very smooth and wanting to return in the future. Thanks, Andrew

I dropped my car off at 7am when the store opened thinking it would be done by 4pm when I got off of work. I arrived at 4:35 pm and my car was still being worked on. It didn't get completed until 7pm. I had new struts and tires put on my car. I understand that the store only had one mechanic that day and he ran into some troubles with the work on my car, but not completing it until 7pm seemed a bit extreme. I could have had the work done on another day if needed. I was never contacted that the work would take this long. I am happy/thankful that the staff stayed until my car was completed, and the work was done top notch. My car rides like a dream now.

The customer service at your store is phenomenal! Bill deserves a raise......or at least a bonus! He was so friendly and helpful! I will highly recommend Big-O Tires to everyone I know!!

Upon arruval Ivfounf iutcthe person I made ny appointment withvwas no longer there. I did not receive the service Jason and I had discussed, did not receive a phone call to inform me he was no longer there and my expectations were not me. Therefore I have tovtake my car somewhere else to getvthe services I requested.

I walked in the store with out an appointment, was greeted with a very nice Good Morning, how can we help you. Even though I had no appointment, they got my truck in for an oil change right away, no hesitation. Friendly staff, great service, not the first time I have been there, will not be the last for sure.

I am usually very happy with this Big O but this time I went in wanting a basic oil change with a $20 coupon I had received. I was told that I could not switch back to regular oil after having a synthetic blend. I was also told I needed all new lug nuts on my tires during my tire rotation. I ended up spending about $100 rather than $25 and when I went home we checked several oil company websites that said that there is no trouble switching back to regular oil.

The dark hair lady was awesome we didnt have our credit card so she helped us find our account the guy Logan wasn't happy that it took 1 minute you look it up and see we never paid no more than 50 bucks and always get a tire rotation for free with the oil change that wasn't the case this time after the 20 dollars off it still came to like 80 bucks u would think they would look our account up and see what we always got and paid the woman should get promoted she may need a little more training up front but she can run the show there no doubt I forgot her name but we gave her our business card maybe she can come work.for us

If it wasn't for Bill at your Ankeny Store I am not sure I would keep coming back. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He gets you in, gets you the information you need and keeps you informed about what is going on with your vehicle. I don't think that prices are the lowest but the customer service I receive out-weighs the added cost.

I dropped my car off on a Saturday around noon which gave them until 5pm to complete a simple oil change. It was done within an hour and a half which was quick enough, but I wasn't ready to pick it up yet. I paid the bill and came back after hours to get my car. There was an oil spot under my car and the shop isn't open on Sundays. I had to take it to a competitor the next day and they determined the drain plug was loose. It didn't work loose on the drive (as it was leaking in the parking lot). So I had another puddle on my garage floor and it cost me $16 bucks to fix. I took the receipt back to the shop and they did reimburse me. Gave me a "sorry", but what about my time and effort? Seems like a pretty simple thing - an oil change. Hesitant to have them do anything else to my car. Very disappointing b/c prior to this I have been very satisfied.

Got me in right away and did a great job. Nothing pushy like some of their competitors

Hi, I have come here the last couple of times and the service is good; however, the interior of my car specifically the steering wheel and the door are very dirty every time I get he car. I don't like it.

Dropped off my car for new tires and was ready when I can-me back in 2 hours. Always get my tire here

Had a TPS replaced "due to leaking air" within a hour another one stopped reading. Took vehicle back to have them reset againtwo days later. Person tried to reset and stated that we had one that went bad. Even though the one that went bad supposedly was not the one that stopped reading. Person stated that whoever rotated tires before did not set it up right. I said well that is weird, because when I fill tires up with air it is the correct one on the dash. He said they did not ruin it, and I said you never did, I just want them reset. Said he would charge me cost for a new TPS. That I knew I did not need. Well went to KARLS Chevrolet where the tires get rotated, and behold the TPS all got reset. The procedure that KARLS used was completely different then what your person was trying to do. Also we dealt with strut problems for 2 months until we asked for them to get a new set to put on. Do not treat customers like they do not know what is going on, because apparently I have not seen one knowledgeable person in this store. I have never had good experiences with Big O, and the tires and struts on Acadia I was giving Bill a chance, and now he is gone. Just fix the problem, learn to use the tools correctly, and make it right the first time! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BIG O.

I ask if they could check my antifreeze for freeze protection. They said they do not do that but would do a coolant flush and refill with new.

Never had a better experience of service than at BIG O, you can tell they love their jobs and are excellent at it!
