Big O Tires

I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to get a headlight bulb put in. At that time I asked at front desk to be told it had to be ordered and that it would only be a few minutes. I waited another 15 minutes and again went to front desk so she went to back again and had technician come to explain what he had done. I think the time for something this simple was too long.

Have used them for years. Trust their knowledge and recommendations 100%. They put the customer first and give advice for the customers' best interest. They don't recommend parts/services just to increase revenue. They care.

I came to get a discounted oil change after purchasing tires a few weeks earlier. I was there over 1 hour 15 minutes and I didn't expect it to take that long. Not that busy. The person did not get off the oil on my cloth seats though he tried with Windex. The stains were not there before. Now I need to take the car back to get the stains off my seat. The staff was knowledgeable and pleasant but could have done more.

Good service and professional treatment.

It took way too long to get three new tires put on my car. Two and a half hours is outrageous. I always feel pressured to buy more than just tires every time I set foot in the store. When I'm told that my front brakes and rotors need to be replaced I always tell them I have work like that done at home upon this answer I have gotten eye rolls I have also been told I have no idea what I'm talking about. Also how to break pads go from about 50% worn to 99% worn between tire rotations unless I've been riding my breaks it's not possible. You all are only in it for the money and because I'm female you all think I can be scared into buying more. If you want repeat business learn how to respect your customers.

Efficient and friendly service

I am disappointed at the way a "quote" was presented to me. I brought my car in for its regular oil change/tire rotation. When I picked up my vehicle, I was shows a quote for "recommended services" of a brake repair. The person who explained the recommendation to me went over the estimated charges and added them up for me. At no time did that person explain there would be additional charges that were not listed in the estimate. The estimate listed $98.84 for Brake Labor, $62.99 for rear brake pads and $131.58 for two rear brake rotors for a total of $293.41. When I picked up my car from the service, I was actually charged $360. The actual charge for the rotors was $33 more than the estimate and $34 in shop supplies and tax. I get it that estimate are just guesses, but the estimate should include ALL charges, including shop supplies and tax. And I don't understand why the rotors were more expensive than the estimate. The Ford Dealer gives me an exact quote that includes all charges. $67 may not seem like a lot of money for some people, but when you have a budget or when you are planning for a certain amount, this change is disappointing.

I've been searching the internet for tires the past month. I'm a native born New Yorker, so we are taught very young not to trust anyone or any company. I have read hundreds of reviews on tires and also tire shops. I've read many reviews of horror stories at some tire shops. My fear was that I didn't want to get ripped off or have damage done to my vehicle. I called Big O tires and spoke to Danny and explained my situation. We discussed the Cooper and the Nitto tires. I went with the Nitto tires and had them installed today. It was a no pressure situation and I thought I was back in the 1950's with their friendliness and courtesy and professionalism. The team there installed my tires and I also got an oil change. Danny and Dennis are in charge and with their team I had a wonderful experience today at my local Big O shop... This is old school service at its best.!

I am usually satisfied with the work you guys do but on my last appointment which I said appointment it took 1an1/2 hours complete the job why to long!

The guy met me at my car and he was so nice. I've never received service like this at a tire place. He was knowledgeable and very nice. I had to buy one tire but I will definetely be coming back for other service.

Went for tire rotation and was shown a report car needed new brakes, they were 80% gone. Took car to my mechanic and he did there is nothing wrong with brakes. Mechanic said it's the second car he had that was told the same thing and there was nothing wrong with their brakes either. Not good customer service when being told a lie.

I will always come back

I had no problem with the people. They treated me well and knew what they were talking about. However, the service was poor. I left with my drain plug leaking oil and my alignment was still not straight. However, I went back in and got refunded so the store did make it right.

I have been a Big -O customer for over 35 years and have never been disappointed with your work.

I waited almost 2 hours for a oil change. And I'm a repeat customer.

Had a low tire, had Big O tires and the tire was replaced! In and out in about 30 minutes!

I would like to say that usually I am pleased with the service, however, after the oil change was done on the 6th of June, I was driving north on vacation and a loud hum started, I was on the interstate. Long story short, the garage I stopped at to check out the problem found that the air cleaner box was not reconnected and they put it together. After that the noise no longer occurred. I realize we all forget things, just a reminder to whomever is doing the oil changes, check that everything is pit back together. I caused some worry for awhile until I got off the interstate. The team was very nice and professional.

Car went in for service - came home with a new 'noise'.Went in again - came home with same noise plus new metal on metal noise.Went in again - all was resolved.I am really disappointed that my car had to come in 3 times instead of one.Not sure my confidence is what it was with Big O after this.

Your store did my oil change and rotate and balanced my tires.Great job.Working at the Census Bureau, it's convenient to have Big O so close so work can get done during regular business hours.
