Big O Tires

I recently had a set of 4 Nitto tires put on my truck at the New Albany, Indiana store. After the install I wasn't satisfied with the road vibration coming from these tires so I came to the Jeffersonville, Indiana store for service. On my first visit at the Jeffersonville store the Big O team balanced the tires and said that would correct the problem. This only made the problem worse. You couldnt drive at 75 mph because of the severe road vibration. I came back to the store as soon as I could and they then said I needed a "road force"� balance and that cost $100. I paid the money even though I had bought the ridiculously priced $200 road hazard package. After driving it the following evening the problem was not solved. I took the truck back to the Jeffersonville, Indiana store and explained I was not satisfied. The gentleman at the store explained I needed to take the tires back to the store I purchased them from to get them replaced. I took the tires back to the New Albany store and they put a Michalin tire and it drove as it did the day I bought it new. I was made to feel as I was causing them a incovience to switch the tires out. When I pay $1600 for a set of tires I shouldn't feel as I am a incovience to get the satisfaction of a smooth ride. Another thing that bothered me is that on my arrive to the New Albany store my old tires were siting out front for sale as used. When I came in to get my tires rotated they told me they needed to be changed. If they were in that bad of shape why are they for sale as used? I apologize I cant give a 5 star review

Excellent service

While the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, I was disappointed in regards to the speed of service. On Thursday I scheduled an oil change for Friday at 5pm. However, despite scheduling the oil change, I still waited over an hour from when I arrived a few minutes before 5 until I was able to leave. While I'll consider using Big O Tires in the future for other services, I doubt I would go back for an oil change.

I had a slow leak in my tire. They found it and replaced the tire. Very friendly and efficient.

I was told my car needed an alignment when I purchased tires so I scheduled one. I waited over an hour before my car was pulled in to garage, then another 30 mins and I was told couldn't do alignment because something was put on wrong. I should've been told this when I got my tires. I had to miss other appointments because it did me no good to set up appointment , then to not have it done. My car has had several alignments (at BigO) and was never told there were any issues . I'm very unhappy with the service here.

The price quoted was almost the same as if I did not have the $25 discount card.

Originally, I went to Michel Tire. They refused to do what I wanted, and said that they would only mount tires that was purchased from them. They also said that no one else would do this for me! Although, I have done business with Big O I took my truck to Michel Tire because Big O is usually very busy. I was not wanting to spend all day getting my truck worked on. I wanted to have the front tires rotated to the rear and have 2 tires mounted and balanced and put on the front. I went to Big O. I talked to Dennis and he said that Big O could do it and that it would probably be 45 minutes or so. The work was done quickly and correctly. I will continue to shop Big O. I appreciate a business that continues to do service, even if it doesn't involve buying a new set of tires

went in for oil change, tire rotation and alignment and they found an issue they took care of it that day

The staff that I was around was great except for the Manager, Dennis, he is really rude and arrogant, I think we will go elsewhere for our tire needs next time!

I am losing confidence in the quality of work that is done. Almost every time I bring my car in for even simple service I leave the lot realizing there's a new car problem that didn't exist before bringing it in. I have to immediately bring my car back confronting management about the new problem. . This takes more time, more frustration and causes me to question the quality of expertise at Big O. Management is very good about trying to correct the problem but I feel like I shouldn't have a new 'problem' when I drive away from having had my car 'fixed' at Big O. I am just about to stop using Big O. Thank you for my opportunity to speak to you about this.

It was fast and courteous like we always receive there.

After being called to say my truck was ready, I was unable to get there to pick it up for another hour, after getting there I found that my truck was NOT done & had to wait another 30 minutes for it to be finished and the mechanic actually had to use my tools to get the job done. I was NOT happy with this situation.

WHEN I WENT IN FOR TIRE ROTATION AND OIL CHANGE,I TOLD THEM I KEPT HEARING A THUMPING SOUND , AT SLOW SPEEDS, IT SOUNDED TO ME LIKE IT HAD A KNOT ON ONE OF THE TIRES. AFTER A LONG WAIT THEY SAID THEY ROTATED AND BALANCED THE TIRES AND DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG THAT HE COULD JUST BARELY HEAR WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. WELL THAN DID YOU GET THE OIL CHANGED AND HE SAID HE FORGOT TO WRITE IT DOWN SO THAN AFTER ANOTHER WAIT I FINALLY LEFT.

I had a pretty good idea of what I needed going in and all of my questions were answered. I scheduled an appointment and dropped of my vehicle. After about and hour I returned and all the scheduled work was completed and my car was parked and ready for me to continue my day. I am always pleased with the staff and their service.

I had a 10 am appointment to get my breaks checked because they were squeaky and I arrived at 9:53. It was nearly 1045 when they took my car back to look! They only checked the front. I had them replace them (this was at 11 am) because they said it would only take an hour. It was after 1 pm when my car was done. Over 3 hours. My breaks still squeak.

I have been a repeat customer at BigOTires, Jeffersonville, IN since 1990. I can always depend on great prices with great customer service.
