I own a 2006 Honda Pilot. I went to Big-O in July of 2017 to get my rotors replaced because my car was making odd sounds whenever I tried to decelerate. Two months later I went back because the noise had returned, and they told me my brake pads needed replacing too. For one, I was upset that they hadn't even bothered to check the brake pads back in July when I'd originally gone in for the noise problem. It's a hassle to get your car fixed and the fact I had to do it twice in two months was annoying. Secondly, they had told me that the brake pads I originally had were 'cheap' which is why they'd run down after only 8 months of having them. When I asked what kind of brake pads they'd be replacing my 'cheap' ones with, it turned out their 'top quality' brake pads were the same exact kind as my 'cheap' ones. After I got my car back the second time, as well as paying over $1,000 for the two services, the noise still hadn't gone away. I brought it in for a third time in October because the noise still hadn't gone away. They proceeded to tell me it was my VTM-4 fluid and it needed replacing. They wanted to charge me for each fluid exchange (it had to be flushed 3-4 times) equaling $180. The total price would be $289 after service fees. I refused to pay the service fees as they hadn't fixed the problem either time I'd come in before. After doing some research, the Valvoline shop down the road would do the same service for $69!! A quarter of the price of Big-O. Ridiculous they can charge that much more for the exact same service. To make matters even worse, when talking to the Valvoline workers, they said my VTM-4 fluid didn't even need to be changed to begin with. When explaining the problem to Valvoline (with the noise), they said it didn't make any sense that Big-O would think that it was the VTM-4 fluid. Three times I came to Big-O with a problem and 3 times they failed to fix the problem, but gladly ripped me off. Never ever go here, very expensive with little results.

I'm not one to leave reviews, positive or negative, but I feel this is a public service announcement. We have limited choices in the valley but avoid Big O -Avon at all costs. The staff is friendly but they are equally if not more incompetent. A simple alternator replacement which should've taken a few hours (1 full day would've been acceptable) took one week and 4 visits on my part having to leave my car overnight. Big O = Big Mistake.

The young lady at the counter was wonderful Not sure of expertise from the report received I don't have confidence in mechanics work being performed 1. the check tire pressure light is still lit on the dash When tires were installed I have two different colors of valve stem caps not sure gas or air was put in all four tires after this visit still have two cap colors Last time when tires were put on I had to come back back three times to resolve issue You hired a new manager then who resolved issue 1st time

Terrible service: Waited over two hours for an oil change, which was never completed. Finally left and got it done down the street in 15 minutes.

Went in for a tire rotation and balance, and wish I hadn't bothered. Took way longer than I was told it would take, and then I got a call telling me my car was ready, even though I was sitting in the waiting room 10 feet away from the desk. The guy never even got off the phone when he handed me my keys back. Those things are annoying, but the worst part was that the hood of my car wasn't closed and latched after it was worked on, and it opened AS I WAS DRIVING on the highway. If I didn't get free balancing and rotation with the tires I bought at Big O, I would never let them touch my car again.

Had new rim installed by big o on 2/5/18. Drove to Iowa 3/6/18 to visit family. On the way noticed vibration/noise coming from tire that was recently installed. Took vehicle to be inspected at jeep delearship just to be safe for the ride back. Improper wheel installation by "last person to service" caused rotors, brakes, lugs, studs and rim to be replaced on right rear. Was told i was lucky to make it "alive" to iowa. Cost me $800 as well as time I was to be spending with family. Big o is certainly living up to its reputation in the valley.

Another horrible experience at the Big O eagle-Vail. This time they wound not honor their roadside warranty saying that I didn't purchase it. They even pulled the original invoice and the warranty was clearly there. I guess it's my own fault for continuing to returnto this store. No more. Waste of time and waste of money.

I would not reccomend to anyone that I know. The Shop had my car for a week that they were supposed to replace a wheel on, charged me, and never put the wheel on. I am currently still waiting on a refund. Awful service!

ongoing issue where they tell me they are going to help me replace a stud they destroyed, super rude manager Pete refuses to call me back. I'd like the stud to be replaced by Subaru dealership and have reimbursement for the fee. no follow up, they are not honest and don't care about my experience or car and it's safety!! Would NEVER recommend Big O Tires, especially the Avon location. 970-471-0140 is my number in case someone wants to fix this mess.

We got our Audi's tires changed. It came back with a couple warning centers on, they said they did not have equipment to fix it I really know what was going on. They eventually told me to take it to get fixed and they take care of it. Well I took it to get fixed and then call big O tires back and they stated to me that it was not their problem and they're not gonna pay for it to get fixed. They told me that it might've been just the car's brakes time to break right then and there. So I am stuck without my car now and they refuse to get it fixed. Terrible business practices do not go there plenty of other tire places within 300 yards a big O tires. Those other tire places will also be big O tires prices. Good luck big O with the locals you're not going to get them.

I arrived at 7am on a Saturday. I asked to have my tires rotated and oil changed. The first person to help me was decent. They assured me the tires would be rotated first and the person who did oil changes arrived at 8am and I was one of the first two in line. I waited in the store and listened to the staff cuss as they talked to each other socially. They were never rude to any customers. It didn't bother me personally but I could tell parents with young children were agitated. At 10:30am I finally walked up to the counter and asked if my car was ready. They brought it out right away, how was I sitting there when my car was ready? There was no charge for my tire rotation, I have no idea if it was done. They had no stickers to put in my window. I trust the oil change was done correctly. I have had good experiences at the same location, this was not one.

I recently got new tires at big o. they apparently got a new balancing machine when I got my tires that they were to yet trained to use so my ties did not get balanced when I got the new ones. I noticed a vibration in the tire. When I took my car back to have them balanced they were to busy because of snow arriving and said I was number 27(an 8 hour wait) on a list. I already waited when I got the the tires and did not have time on this day to wait again I have stopped back several times and have not been able to get in. ( A gentlemen that was working was very nice but still couldn't help, he also was the one that told me about this new balancing machine and explained why I was having the problem in my brand new, paid for tires) I really would like to get this addressed asap.

I came to Big O to get tires initially. They have a decent deal to switch them out when you have their tires so I'm forced to go back when I need to change out my tires. The last 2 times I went, I asked for an oil change and a couple other things as well, which they didn't do. When I asked at the end about it, they said they didn't hear that part. I called today to see how busy they are but Nick told me that they are "unfortunately unable to give me any kind of estimate." I understand not giving an exact estimate but a "we're busy" or "we're not too busy today" would have been nice. They are always rushed and stressed out and treat customers like an inconvenience. Once these tires are done, I will not be going back.

I have been going to you guys for many years when I need tire services. Last spring, I brought my new car to you guys to get the alignment done and the tires rotated. I purchased the 1 year deal, to be able to do this as many times as needed over the course of a year. My car has different size tires from the back to the front. They are larger in the back. Well, when I picked up my car, I had noticed a grinding while I was driving. It turns out that your techs put the rear tires on the front and the front tires on the rear. I brought it back and they put the tires where they specifically needed to be, but didn't do another alignment check after moving the tires around. I let it slide. I went back to the same shop in Eagle-Vail to have the alignment and rotation done again. I specifically stated to the service rep about the last experience and the mistakes that were made, in order to avoid them this time around. When I picked up my car, the same mistakes were made again. So, they rearranged the tires back to where they were supposed to be, but did not do another alignment check after removing the tires. Chances are the alignment is still good. But I can't help but think it's not right. And I certainly do not believe the alignment is where is should be if everything was done correctly the first time.

Called ahead to see if they were busy and they said no, come on in. Wanted my tires, which I purchased there, balanced and rotated. Developing a slight shimmy around 65mph. Arrived at 12:55. At 2:25 I walked out of the store for fresh air and I saw my car was still in the parking lot. There was only one other person in the waiting area. I asked for my car to be brought up and left. Have bought my tires from Big O since they opened. Probably Walmart next.

Well I brought my Audi in to get new tires put on. When I picked it up I had a brake sensor going off. They said they could not fix it but bring it somewhere else and big o will take care of it. Well they did not take care of it and will no longer stay by their word and fix it. Now I'm stuck with an Audi that does not work properly. Big o sucks. Lots of tire places within 300 yards of big O tires. Go to them they'll Beta go prices. Big O tires sucks!
