Jeep Rubicon. Bought "off road" tires. Nitro 295/17. Expensive; $300/per. $1,600 all said and done. Old OME should be 50 psi. Checked new tire psi after 2,500 miles. Read 40-42 psi. Sidewall and internet says it should be 80 psi! Big difference. Do I really have a 4 tire leak? Do not thinks so...

I came in for a a leaking tire. I noted that I believe there was a nail in the tire. The car went in and came out claiming the tire bead would not sit properly on the rim. I cam ein a few days later with the same issue and the bead was the cause for the leak again. This continued on for weeks. I eventually took the tires else where and in fact there was a nail in them. I have since bought new winter tires else where and have not had any leaks. I also purchased the tires from Big O with additional coverage and was still charged for the intial "fix"

Probably not going back:(. Store manager was respectful and polite and very responsive when we brought issues up to him.

I came at 7am and dropped my car to have tires installed. I had called the week before and purchased the snow tires. I picked up the car at 5pm, and realized that the new tires had not been installed, and the folks at the store did not know that- they were surprised, even though they took my money and thought the tires were on. I had to bring it back the next day (Saturday) and the had the tires installed.

My husband took my car in to have the winter tires swapped for the summer ones and to get the oil changed. Big O requires appointments now. 2:00 appointment. They didn't start until 2:30. 1/2 hour later they came out and said 2 of the tires needed replaced. They did not swap any tires. Took the car out front saying it was ready. Oops! They forgot to change the oil. My husband had to wait for 2 more appointments after him before they would change the oil. 4:30 car was ready. And they did not re-set the "time for maintenance" message on the car. Very disappointed!!

Probably the worst experience I've had at this store. I was the 3rd person there and the last of the morning group to leave, waited 6.5 hours for my truck...they busted my lug nut and told me I'd have to wait 2-4 more hours to fix. Should have done it right the first time! Unusually poor service for me this time, makes me re-think my choice.

I got to the location at 645 am so I could be first in line for service. They didn't start working on my car until 845 without telling me.

I am still pretty upset that the Big O employee told me that the damage done to my sidewall tire could not be fixed. I have had this happen to me on several occasions, and each time they told me I needed new tires. I would leave and go to a different tire dealer, and they fixed my tire(s) easily. I felt bullied into getting new tires. I felt that I had no choice to purchase four brand new tires at a time when I absolutely could not afford it. They would not let me see the damage done to my tire as my car was in the garage bay on a lift. If they just walked out to my car in the parking lot and told me the prognosis (as they had done in the past), I would have drove away and found someone who could repair my tire with no problem. As I have done repeatedly in the past. I guess the employees at this location have figured out how to get their customers over a barrel and purchase new tires. Very disappointing. The tires I purchased do NOT make me feel safe. My car does not drive in a straight line. It overcorrects. Very scary driving my car, that is a LEASE I have had for only six months. I feel stuck with what I was bullied into purchasing.

Got my breaks done, when I left the shop I had no breaks. I took it back they said it was because I need shoe drums. I want home I let the air out of the break lines and it work. All in all, who ever did my breaks doesn't know how to install breaks

I went in becaus I had a coupon for an oil change, fluid check, and tire rotation. I also wanted to have my brakes checked, as I now hand 50000 miles on my car and they have been making a screeching noise. After waiting over two hours (which I was okay with) I talked to a different person than who took my keys, and found out that they forgot to rotate my tires and reported they heard nothing with my brakes, even though I was sitting outside when they moved my car and heard the noise from where I was. When I told the guy this, he just said "okay" but didn't offer to let me talk to the mechanic or to correct the problem with my tires, which I would have waited for. The guys at my local shop are all friendly and nice, but after this experience, I'll probably go somewhere else for oil changes in the future.

Told me tires would be here Monday now not until Wednesday but sounds like there not sure. To bad my work revolves around me driving so really tough to plan around these guys when im not sure when im getting new tires.

I bought snow tires and had them installed, this took 4 hours, ran a few errands, and went home. The next day, when I got on the interstate and reached a speed of 65-70 mph the vehicle vibrated like it was either out of alignment or a tire weight had fallen off. I took it in the next day and asked them to check it and let them know I was planning on making a long drive the following day. 2 hours later my keys returned, charged $125 for the alignment (I feel it should have been a service provided with the original tire purchase) and the car still shakes when I reach speeds of 70+. A little better but... Very upset that I am going to have to go in again at the expense of my time. They should be paying me at this point...

Worst experience ever! Ruined my entire day. I will never be back
By anonymous | 9/6/2019
I dropped my car off today and was told 90 minutes... 4 hours later I am still waiting. No call, and no apologies. I have been a Big O customer (Castle Rock) for years and that will end today. I can't believe how poorly the customer is treated at this location. Shame!

Quite dissatisfied with my experience- ordered tires in January that did not come in, was not notified. Was contacted in March (for snow tires) and then arbitrarily had my cc charged for the tires. Totally unacceptable and the proposed solution (storing the tires) is equally unacceptable. David Dugery 610-952-2335

Love my new tires! Getting 4 new tires was easy and simple but follow up on problems is sub standard!! I've been back twice! Issue still not resolved.
By anonymous | 2/18/2020
Told them what was wrong, they "diagnosed" it and found "nothing" wrong. Got my car back with the exact same issue I came in with. It was a bulb on the headlight. Not the first time something like this has happened here.

We are not from the area, but always use Big O for most of our service needs. We were very unimpressed with our service here. Service was slow, management was unprofessional. Kids were running around in there service garage, we are questioning the knowledge of the technicians, as my husband had to fix the tire pressure after we left the shop.

Easily the worst oil change experience I've ever had. I showed up at 6am, an hour before they opened, because this store is crazy busy due to snow tire season and they are first come first served with no appointments available. I was the 5th person in line and so expected my car to get done rather quickly. I dropped off my keys and waited in the waiting area. A couple hours went by and I was seeing some of the people that came before me start to leave so I figured I would be next. Another hour went by and I looked around to see if my car was being worked on or parked somewhere. I couldn't find it so I figured it was in the oil bay. Another hour went by and I asked about my car's ETA. Chris went to go check on it and in the meantime, Peter told me it was in the Oil bay now. When Chris came back, he confirmed. So i waited another hour or so and was getting antsy. Chris noticed and came over to me to tell me it would be another 30 minutes because they JUST started working on it. He said they hire temps this time of year and had some no-shows so someone just arrived to be able to start working on it and it would be another 30 minutes. It was done about 45 minutes later. That's 6.5+ hours I waited around being strung along and no one could be bothered to tell me "hey man, we're having a staffing issue and it might be a while" to where I could have taken an Uber home. Don't get me wrong, the guys were extremely nice and Chris was super apologetic whenever he talked to me but that doesn't excuse the lack of communication on their part if they knew something was up. I'm also disappointed to hear that "a temp" was working on my car. I don't come to Big-O-Tires to have a someone off the street work on my car because they are in a jam, that's what the $45 Oil change at Walmart is for. I came and paid double that because I believed I was going to get great service as I have in the past (haven't been to this shop in a year but thought i'd start bringing my new car back). I remember in the past they would hand you a little test kit with q-tips and all kinds of samples they took from your car during inspection and walk you through everything. This time I just got told it was done, a sticker was put on my window, and I was handed my keys. It just didn't feel worth the $75 and 6.5+ hours of waiting. Also, the sticker on the window says my next oil change is in 497,000 miles. I'm only at 48,000 so I'm not even sure how they got to "497" let alone the extra 0's. Finally, I drove my car off and started hearing noises I had never heard before coming from the tires. I came back to the shop and had Peter drive it a couple times. He couldn't really hear it till the second time and told me it's likely nothing. They didn't have a mechanic to spare to come take a listen but he told me to come back on Monday if the sound continued. During this conversation I also learned that my tires had been rotated for me as part of the service. No one mentioned tire rotation was included in an oil change and I had just had my tires rotated by Costco less than a week prior since that's where I bought them. So unfortunately I had to spend another 1 hour there between this conversation and waiting for my car to go back to the bay so someone could put the tires back to how they were so i didn't have double the wear on them. The bumping noise persisted the rest of the day and the next morning. I took it out on I-70 for a round-trip to summit county and it seems to have stopped so maybe there was just something stuck in there that got shaken out. I'm hoping that is the case and I don't have to come back. Overall I was extremely patient and calm with these guys knowing how busy the shop was and they were very nice and apologetic the whole time but I am still pretty upset over the amount of time I wasted sitting in the lobby when a simple heads up could have made all the difference. I was in the shop from 6am - 2pm when I could have done something productive with my day had

I had gotten a flat on my less than a week old tires. when they replaced them I asked if I could keep the old tires so I could use the warranty I had on them. They ended up recycling the tire and rendering the other one pointless. I was unable to renew my warranty so I ended up wasting almost $400. I really enjoyed my experience at your store but that one mistake cost me big
