Big O Tires

I was greeted warmly when I went into the store. It was explained what was going to be done to the vehicle and given an approximate work time , I was then advised where the waiting area was and told to help myself to the refreshments. The vehicle was ready sooner that promised and I was on my way ....This was a very pleasant experience.

The Coffee Rd location was awesome, as always! I trust them, because they don't try to "upsell" me, or tell me I need repairs I don't need. Example: when I brought my car in for its normal oil change & tire rotation, I had mentioned an issue w/ the brakes & wanted to know if they needed replaced. When they had the car on the rack, they showed me my brakes & said they didn't need replaced. The sound I heard was because of the type of brake pads I'm using. I felt relieved, because I didn't have the money to do the replacement right then. I know that other places would have replaced them & not said a word. I will bring all my work to them, unless it's under warranty, or if it's something that has to be done at the dealership! Their staff is always friendly & approachable. They always answer my questions & never make me feel hurried. They treat me like a person & not a number!!

Service was good and car was ready when stated, The prices were a lot higher than I expected, Same service last year or so was below $200. They did give me a $30 discount. $269 was price with discount I paid $236, Front brake on most cars can be changed and rotors turned in 45 minutes. Prices ranged from $206 to $330 at other shops in town, I trust service at Big O and are always going to go there if prices are competitive.

Big O tires change my thoughts of mechanics they treated me with respect even better than FAMILIA I was there even a 2nd time and the same happens love the CRM system a trustworthy place to be 5***** Thanks You.....

It was a simple thing…..removing tires from steel wheels….the service manager was not even going to charge for the procedure….but I insisted there should be a charge for the worker.

I owe them my life- literally. I wanted to extend a thank you to both Charolette and the staff at your store in Bakersfield on 3648 Coffee Road, Bakersfield CA. Owning and paying the extra price for a Mercedes- to include their service and they pride themselves on customer safety- it was NOT the case for them at Mercedes Services. It is Big O Tires that DID ensure my safety- and peace of mind. Mercedes totally negated to tell me, even after I ASKED them about a rim and tire if it was safe to drive- they let me go and told me the car was safe (and my service advisor even commented on that she knew how many miles I drive daily). I ended up going to Big O Tires (once again after failed service at the Mercedes Bakersfield Service Dealership) to Big O install a tire on a rim-. Both Charolette (now my hero), Eddie, ramon and David not only told me my vehicle wasn't safe drive, they showed me the chunk in the tire that absolutely couldn't have been missed had the first place looked, it was also the rim, and showed me the crack in the rim. They took the time and jacked the car back up, SHOWED me and verified what recent repairs really had and hadn't been done, gave me the defective parts Big O took off, took the time to find the right parts I needed- cheaper at that, special tire, etc. I will always be back to them for anything not covered under my Mercedes warranty- from oil changes to repairs, etc. Had that particular tire blown, it literally could have cost me my life (along with injuring someone else). I have pictures of proof. Thank you so very very much. I don't think I can now ever walk away from Mercedes feeling safe- I can from Big O. I have been back and their service is excellent--- and they will tell you the truth even if it isn't something you want to hear. The honesty is something you just can put a price on. Thank you!!!!! PS Their prices are great as well

Ease of service

Best auto repair shop in Bakersfield. I had my car smogged at another shop. They misdiagnose my needed repairs. Big O inspected my vehicle and fixed the correct problem. Wont go anywhere else but Big O Tires for any work needed in the future

I had a tire that was not holding air and it was fixed within a short time. I did not have an appointment but was still served quickly and the nail was removed without issue. Great service and clean lobby. I will continue to come to this shop for all my tire related needs.

Fantastic service every time I go there. Charlotte is great helps me make the best decisions for me. Options are made clear to me. She always helps me save money as well.

This shop was recommended and am happy I went to get my car serviced there. The guys are always helpful, knowledgeable, and super nice!!

The customer service is fabulous. They definitely know what they are doing. I haven't had one issue with my car since I started going to BIG O Tires. I'll never go anywhere else again.

Hello, Mr. Ramon helped me a lot he called me when the car was ready and called when they found the problem a very nice man. This was my first time going in the store and I liked how I was received.

Omar was very courteous and professional and tended to my immediate needs with addressing what were needed for what was assessed during my visit.

I LOVE TAKING MY CAR THERE, THEY DON'T TRY TO OVER SELL ME ON ITEMS I DON'T NEED. i LIKE THAT. THEY HELP ME TO DO A PLAN ON MAINTENANCE FOR MY CAR SO I KNOW WHEN I GET TO A CERTAIN MILEAGE I SHOULD GET THAT PARTICULAR SERVICE. ALSO THEY RECOMMENDED TO WATCH FOR SERVICE DISCOUNTS WHEN THEY SEND OUT COUPONS AND GET IT DONE AT THAT TIME. THEY SAVE ME MONEY.. FOR THAT, I WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE MY CAR THERE AND RECOMMEND IT TO MY FAMILY.

Great customer service

We have had our Tundra and BMW 325 maintained at Coffee Big O for a number of years. A great job always! No unnecessary work. Tires, Brakes, and cooling system always quality work, done well. Charlene has always taken great care of us. After evaluation they will refer if the work cannot be done there.

Big O Tires has always been the best at speaking with a representative about your problem, and getting the best service in solving your problem. They not only explain everything about what will be done, they give you a time frame for completion. Big O is the best when it also comes down to the most for your money.
