Honda specifies 75 lb ft torque to tighten lug nuts. Your idiots used at least double that torque. It is never OK to use an impact wrench to tighten lug nuts. NEVER. All were so severely overtightened that I needed a 4 foot long extension on my socket wrench handle in order to remove them. That was possible at home in my garage but had I needed to change a tire while away from home it would have required a call to AAA since the tool provided by Honda has a mere 12 inch handle.

Thank you for getting me in the day before Thanksgiving! I was visiting my folks and they noticed my tires were not looking too great. When I called I was greeted by a nice man named Will who explained my options of choosing tires for my Prius. I was able to get my car fixed with new tires and alignment. Plus, since Big O is nationwide I can go to my local store for a free alignment within the year. Thanks Big O!

Horrible experience...went in Saturday morning from LA to San Diego and the "new tire they allegedly sold me was trash. Now that i think about it they patches the same old tire instead of what i paid for.

My experience here was amazing!

I had new tires put on my Audi. They did not call back on availability like they said they would, but got the tires I wanted at a fair price. After the first go around, the tires were not balanced correctly, and I had to go back a second time. For the second try, I had to wait in line for 20" to drop off my car, and it took half a day to get them balanced even though I dropped it off before 8am. When when I got it back, the tires were balanced, but not only had the tech not even bothered to wash the brake dust hand-prints from my wheels, they did not even bother to wipe off the grease pencil marks they had made on the wheels to identify proper replacement location. Ultimately, I got the tires on and balanced, but there is very clearly little pride in the work being done. I would return if I had to, but will probably look elsewhere next time.

I replaced ALL 4 tires of my Toyota Camry based on the recommendation by store's manager Steve (8767 Irvine Center Dr, Irvine, CA 92618). Post replacement, I had to visit 3 more times just to fix a "right pull" which developed immediately after I hit the road. During my repeat visits, all 4 tires were replaced again for reasons not known to me. Alignment was done too (free of cost) but results remained the same. Currently, I am driving my car with the "right pull" which is so annoying and I don't know what to do. Its also straining my left arm due to the constant pressure I need to maintain to keep my car run straight. I am regretting my decision to visit your center to some extent for obvious reasons. Being a student I don't have the luxury to spend higher than what I did already but satisfaction is missing....big time!

Had a leak and needed tire rotation. took it in without an appointment. Was done within the hour. flexible. clear communication and expectation setting. great service.

It took way too long and look like they had too many novice technicians on the floor. The technicians did a full inspection on my car without asking including removing tires which must have broken the hubcap because one of my hubcaps is missing. I called the store after I discovered it was missing and the person on the other end of the phone basically said he didn't see it anywhere in the shop. Did not offer to replace and again I didn't ask to have my tires pulled in the first place I just came for a simple oil change. Took way too long

I asked that they make sure my car was locked when in the parking lot. When I picked up the car, it was not locked. They also left the chrome valve stem covers off....I hate that! When I picked up the car, (simple flat repair) it took forever to get my bill. Partially because they pulled up the wrong order and had to go find someone to help. I probably would not come back which is too bad as I am looking for a place that I trust to maintain my vehicle

I have been this store a few times with both my cars.I would like to tell you that my experience with Armando was perfect. This is exactly what I want when I go into an auto repair facility.I was certain that the car needed an alignment in addition to the new tires and gave Armando the authority to do it if needed. When I called to pick up he told me all was good. The car was done in the time frame he promised. He was friendly, professional and it was a quick in and out without any high pressure sales tactics, and I appreciate this. This is the long term game of customer loyalty and satisfaction will earn more than the high pressure sales tactics.Thank you Armando for being honest and thank you for the great service.I will absolutely be back.In fact aft er a family member who once had a "less great" experience after going there upon my recommendation asked if I got the tires done, I told them yes, and how great and easy the service was. They said, they will give it a second chance the next time they need to come in.

I bought a tire recently. Well I've gotten nails in my tires a few times. Last time I was in Carlsbad and American Tire Depot, fixed the nail and rotated my tire for free, they didn't ask me if I had bought the tire there. Well I bought all tires from different sources. At America's Tire Depot They just fixed it no questions asked. Excellent service. Now your service was good, the service Manager was very polite and helpful, good service. The tire was put one and the repair was good. he repair was good. The only thing is i was required to pay $24.95 for the service. I read on the website, free flat repair with purchase, obviously that did not mean the new tire being purchased, so I knew it meant one that was already purchased I am not sure that the tire with the nail was purchased at big O or not. But the other company didn't blink an eye, when repairing it as a free service. So Unfortunately, I will NOT, purchase any tires at Big O again. Because of their good will and excellent service, I will purchase any future tires from American Tire Store or American Tire Depot, because I feel that they went the extra mile and big O's flat repair policy came up short. Your Service Manager was very good, polite, Professional and pleasant, but American Tire beat you on exemplary service. I shall tell my friends to go to American instead and post on Yelp accordongly.

Bought 4 new tires. Installation scratched up my painted rims, pressure in passenger front tire was 5 psi below others. Installation was very fast. But obviously they are rushing. Hence the scratched up rims and underinflated new tire.

I was recently in Irvine, CA with my daughter who was playing in the PGF National Softball Tournament. Prior to my trip I had just had all 4 tires replaced on the car when driving to one of the games the tire sensor light came on. Not being from the area I did a quick Google search and found Big O Tires was about a mile an a half from our hotel. I drove over with no appointment and William Peneida and his crew took our car in right away discovered that I had a lose valve stem, they fixed it for us and had us on our way to the next game. My next tire purchase will be with Big O Tires do to their friendly and professional service.

I went in to get some tires put on my car. The problem I had was I directly said the tpms light was on and most likely a sensor was going bad. They said they'd look and replace anything needed. I get the car back and they said the light turned off and it was fine no need to scan it. I drove a few miles and it came back on exactly as it did before, meaning they didn't scan it and just assumed it was fine because the system reset and the light was off.

I called to have a set of tires mounted, got an appointment at a time I liked. Once I arrived, they were fast with the work and I got the car back as promised, price is quite reasonable too.
