Big O Tires

Was waiting 2h for the tire to be patched and I made the appointment online and didn't miss my appointment. Looks like other people who bought tired (more expensive product) were pushed in front of me. What's the point in online appointment then?

I have been a frequent customer of Big O Irvine for over 10 years. They make it easy, personal and friendly. I have had major and routine repairs done there. Of course it's a great place for buying tires. On some of the major repairs, when applicable they were able to work through the warranty service. Their hours are longer than any other service I'm aware of as they are open regular hours on the weekend.

I called and asked for an appt and asked if my car would be ready in a set time and was told it would be. When I got to the shop my car was worked on in a fairly timely manner but it took longer than planned and had to bring car back to finish repairs because they didn't finish all that needed to be done. I had to take the car due to I was already 1.5 hours late to my scheduled time I needed to be somewhere that I had already talked to the manager about. I was fairly disappointed in his customer service as I am also a maintenance manager.

Everything went very smoothly. I read the specs on the alignment, and I don't believe I needed an alignment.

They change my car oil and filter but the broke the dash door.

My recommendation is have more than 1 person writing up ticket and 2 mechanics at 7am.Will was by himself and he had 3 people in line waiting to open at 7a.I was the first person and still my oil change took 1 hr. and other unhappy customers waiting while Will was trying to do his best and still maintain a positive customer service. Also give correct information when people call in about stopping by for oil change, don't just say "oh yeah, drop it by, we open at 7a and we can write you up and get you on your way", these words may be true, but also provide a realistic timeframe depending on the time and day that someone will be dropping their car off. This helps to manage expectations both ways.

I bought 4 tires for my sports car and was pleased with the overall experience. What was lacking was attention to details and general customer service awareness. When the tires didn't come in when promised they didn't call to tell me there would be a delay of 1-2 days. I had to do all the follow up. Additionally, when I picked up my classic meticulously kept sports car the tires looked scarred and dirty. Although I know that tires are coated with preservative to keep them supple while being shipped they didn't clean the tires up at all and their appearance was horrible. I requested they clean them up and they complied. They should have known not to present them to a customer looking so poorly.

Fast and friendly service!

I waited 3 hours at the store to replace all my tires (with an appointment). An hour and a half into my wait, they tell me that the tires are out of stock and they were going to another store to pick them up. I called the day before to confirm that they had the tires.

Needed an oil change at 90k miles. The service rep, Rick at the Irvine, Ca shop was super cordial and while the car was getting the service, came in with a few other services needed to keep the 100k warranty valid. That is quality service to me.

Usually I have been pretty happy with my past experiences here. The only complaint about my most recent visit was the length. I had an appointment and made sure the tires I wanted were in stock. Three hours to replace two tires and an alignment job seems excessive.

Computer were down. There was no water available to drink. Without computer, your people don't know anything to explain or calculate

I came in for a slow leak in a tire. The leak was undetectable so there was no charge. They also did a free alignment check and no alignment was needed. I walked out without having to pay for anything.

Inwas offered a price for a specific set of tires but those tires were not in stock, but this was not figured out until the tores were taken off my car and taken apart, so the car had to sit overnight until a set of 4 could be located. Also i was not offered a price on the current deal of $150 off select tires.

Been getting oil change for last year with $19.99 coupon, on same car, and have been charged a different price every time by a different person. What gives?
