To begin the guy who I spoke to at the counter acted as if I was abusing my 3 year unlimited alignment plan. "Weren't you just here?" Yes I was but on my last visit the alignment tech was very nice to show me a couple of things that were wrong on my truck, including leaking shocks. So I purchased new ones and had them installed at another shop. But that is where I was told about my damaged alignment cam tabs. So after having you guys align the truck 2 times. Now one of my tabs is completely bent and the truck rides the same as if I never brought it in. I was advised by 2 shops that either you guys bent them while aligning the truck or you did not tighten them completely and they rolled over the tab. I'm starting to think you guys are over your head or don't know how to properly align my truck. It hasn't been a month and I'm already thinking the purchase was not worth it. You guys are within walking distance of my house and it is very convenient for me but if it's going to be this hard to something simple I'll go to another shop. I guess my main concern is I should of been told that there's damage to the alignment cam tabs and I need to get them fixed or the truck won't align properly. I have a job and I don't have time to keep going in and dealing with this issue. It was convenient but now it's becoming inconvenient.

Brought my car into Big O Tires this week because it had a flat tire/nail. The repair charge was $25. I have spent over $1400.00 on brakes, tires, shocks, etc, multiple services since first coming in for service to Big O Tires in May 2017. I understand the tire, with the nail in it, was not purchased at Big O, and therefore no free service offered for tire repair. You made me feel as if I was a number, that my history with you is not a big expenditure ($1400) in your business. Just wanted you to know I will probably look for another service company fir future work on my car..including tire and oil changes.

Came in for a power steering fluid leak. They never checked the hose just called me to tell me I needed $2000 worth of repairs (some system attached to the power steering needed to be replaced) and needed new struts (they were leaking) for another few thousand dollars. And told me I couldn't drive around like this. Told Steve I would rather buy a new car and didn't want anything done except the realignment I also asked for. After several calls back and forth as Steve tried to get me a better price on parts and I still said no he went and checked the hose and it was leaking and he fixed it for $300, if he did the alignment it didn't work, car still shakes at 65 mph. And miraculously it was now okay to drive around with the struts as is. I'm disgusted that the hose wasn't the first thing checked and this process started out as a $4000 fix. If i was working i would have naively said yes. Confirms all the stereotypes of mechanics taking advantage of people's lack of car repair knowledge. I will never be back and question everything else that was recommended of the last 7 years of me going there.

The front desk manager was busy but took time to check my tires. Made recommendation and saved us over $400 from what Ford and Costco would charge - and neither had the tires is stock. BigO did!

Experience with Big O Tires was poor all around. At the Santa Ana location, I already gave a poor Yelp review because I made an appt. for new tires and they didn't have it in stock when I got there. Nor did they give me a courtesy call to let me know. At the Costa Mesa location, we went for a "free" alignment check. Had to haggle for several minutes because the store employee kept wanting to know if we were going to get an alignment done before even doing the check. Why is it so important to know this beforehand? If it doesn't need an alignment after the check, then what alignment package we purchase is moot. Finally, after checking the alignment, we were given some numbers on why they were off. We were told we should have the alignment done. After saying we don't want it done at this time, they kept us there for an extra 5-10 minutes saying we should it get it done today since it's already on the rack. They finally took the vehicle off the rack and let us go. We took our vehicle to a different place that does alignment to get a 2nd opinion. It was a shop that gets their machine calibrated every year. Their testing showed the specs were only slightly off and that alignment wasn't needed. As suspected, the Big O store in Costa Mesa was just trying to get us to spend money on something we didn't need to do. Terrible service and experience at both stores. Will not be returning to either.

On January 2, 2018, I took my GMC Envoy to Big O for a quoted price of $533.00. When technician was done, he indicated that I had to have the brakes realigned. I agreed and it was done. I did not ask for the warranty which was applied to bill of $57.60. I didn't ask for any warranty protection plan etc. but it was applied to my bill. The technician also said that I have a dead battery when he tried to start the car: they had to jump it. As I indicated to the technician, the Envoy has a safety feature, will not start unless you step on the brake. So that was unnecessary procedure by jumping the battery. I get it, they try to add items on to my bill, including a new battery, which was not installed. Very unhappy with the way this went down at Big O. With unnecessary additional quotes. I only went there for 2 new tires, with the result of $653.00. When the quote was $533.00.....

The check-in was prompt and professionally handled, and even though I did not have an appointment the job was completed within a few hours.

Waste of time: went to get 2 new tires and have my alignment fixed. They said it would take about 2 hours with an appointment. After 2 hours of waiting for them to call me to let me know if my car was ready, i walked back into the office to find that my keys were sitting on the front desk. They said that everything was done and i drove off the lot to find that they didn't fix my alignment at all. I had to go back a second time to have the job finished up. No apology for the inconvenience or that the job wasn't done right the first time around. it was a waste of time and money.

To begin the guy that was working had a piss poor attitude. He acted as if I was abusing the 3 year align my truck anytime service I paid for. My steering wheel was a little off and the truck pulled to the left. The truck still pulls and the steering wheel is off. Almost as if they did nothing. I'm starting to think bringing the truck to you guys was a mistake. I might take the truck to a different location to see if they can do better. I see that my alignment cam gusset is completely bent and I hope that's not the reason, but again your guys have said nothing to me about that. I'm starting to get annoyed but I'll give you one more chance being you guys are a 5 minute walk from my home.

Quick in and out. Can't drop car and hate having to wait for service. If they remain quick will return for next service

I am very disappointed with the experience at this store. I called ahead to check pricing and make a reservation for my wife to bring our car in. I should have known better and done it myself, but circumstances dictated a need for her to go instead of me. I selected the exact service I wanted- an oil change, and was given a fair price. I made the appointment and informed the attendant that my wife would be bringing the car in and that she would be my young son with her. The initial phone call was pleasant enough. The attendant was very nice and the quality of the service itself was fine. I will say that. However, I asked how the long the oil change would take and was quoted about 20 mins. No problem. Well it was a problem. My wife waited there for almost 2 hours, despite being the only customer at the time of her arrival. It turns out they finished the oil change within the quoted time frame, but did not alert my wife or finalize the service because they wanted to sell her other products and services, which they were unable to discuss with her immediately due to other customers entering the store. So my wife waited with a fussy screaming one year old for an hour and 45 minutes when she originally expected to wait 20-30 min tops, all because the store employees felt it more important to wait and try and sell her other crap that wasn't wanted or needed. Needless to say, we will not be coming back. I was really hoping for an easy in and out but was given the exact opposite.
