Big O Tires

Not sure if it was bc of the post holiday rush but I felt brushed off and not listened to by one of the service representatives. Usually the service is friendly, respectful and knowledgeable.

Very good customer service and very helpful. And lots of smiles. I 5 star them

Hi - I rated everything as a 3 because I didn't know if 5 was "excellent"� or "horrible"�. I suggest using the same star format from the first question.

Sanjeev was very helpful. Recommended a good alternative to my existing but worn out Michelins.

The people who helped us both on the phone and in person were great. I was happy with the price except for the $20 per tire balancing charge. Especially so because what ever glue they used to apply the weights flowed all over our wheels and turned black. It was a sticky mess that took me a while to clean off with solvent and polish. Otherwise a very good experience.

Always do the best they can to help you. Jason and Sanjeev are the best.

Jason Burtis knows the finer points of selling and service.I have noticed a tendency on the part of his staff to "hyper-sell"Big O's service and parts.I realize that these gentlemen are on commission, but would prefer a little less of the sales mentality, and a little more of the service mindset.Jason has elevated this ability to an art form.

I like this store location and I trust the employees here to fix my car.

THE GOOD: Staff is super courteous and helpful, there is no high pressure up-selling, and BigO is generally willing to price match the competition and do,whatever it takes to serve their customers. THE BAD: Wait times are almost always longer than promised. My last visit after handing over the key i was told just over an hour, but I didn't check out until 3 hours later. They could and must do a better job of managing their customer expectations of how long the work will taje, perhaps by underpromising upfront and checking in with customers waiting in the clean, well appointed lobby. IN SHORT, if took can drop your auto off or have excess time to kill, BigO is a good choice. However, if you are waiting in the lobby four service too be completed, you better check in with service writer at least once an hour for updates. They will literally forget your in the lobby!

I was a walk in . The store took care of my alignment with little fuss .

Customer service was top of the line we talked about tires, cars, very knowledgeable representative. I was able to leave and still have all the business taken care of without the hassle of spending the day waiting. There was prompt call back when service was completed with adequate information on cost and service details. Great place to shop

Despite the fact your store was more expensive then the other three options I looked at for the same set of tires, it was the customer service rep. that brought me to your San Mateo store. My only comments are: --I wished I had a better idea of how long the process was going to take, nearly three hours, so that I could have planned better (or if you had a shuttle service). --Wish the car would have been detailed slightly (like vacuum or wash car) - the other places I looked at were going to do that --Watch when kids are present with the jokes and language, sometimes.

I was very happy with the actual service and knowledge but even though I had an apt I was there 2 1/2 hours for 2 new tires to be installed and an alignment.
