I purchased tires through your website and made a 9am appointment to have them installed a your local branch. I received an e-mail confirming my 9am appointment, but when I showed up I was told that the tires would not arrive until 1pm. Since we planned our entire day around this (confirmed) 9am appointment, I had no choice but to purchase more expensive tires that you had onsite. I was then told the installation would take about 90 minutes, but when I returned 120 minutes later was told that the alignment was not done and the technician needed another 60 minutes. Bottom line is that after confirming my appointment, I did NOT receive the tires I wanted and did not get the wheel alignment that was expected within the time provided. How would you rate that level of service? Not good. Not good at all...

I'm a little upset since we had 2 appointments and only one got fufilled. I had made appointments for 2 alignments and only one got done. They offered us to bring it back on Monday Feb 19 and we had an appointment for 10am we dropped of the truck and came back and it had not gotten it done. It's frustrating bc that was the 2nd time in and no progress so why make appointment if they take random cars in before the appointments.

Rushed me out of there so they could leave promptly at 3:59pm, since they closed at 4. Didn't tighten the lugnuts enough so my son had to pull over off of the freeway to tighten them in the middle of the night. Scary and frightening. They were lucky nothing happened!!!! You do not rush things like this. I called and went back the next day and they said sorry and tightened them. No compensation at all for my troubles of having to take time off of work to have to come back. Very disappointing and scary. I ordered tires online and paid for them, but they said I ordered the wrong size, even though I picked make and model from their site. Replaced them with much more expensive tires without telling me. Ridiculous! Never going there again.

I brought my car to Big O Tires in Novato to have a few nails removed from one of my tires. The process took quite a long time and I began to wonder what was wrong. After asking them what was going on they said "oh, it's ready." I paid and walked back to my car and noticed that the paint on my driver's side mirror was completely dull. The clear coat had been totally rubbed off (and there were some scratches on it as well). I told the manager that my mirror wasn't like this when I brought it in (I had just worked on my car the day before). He spoke with the owner and the owner basically said "unless the manager saw it happen, then we're not taking responsibility." This is a classic case of he said/she said--but the fact is, they ruined my mirror and it's going to cost $300 to fix it.

While driving from San Diego to the Bay Area last week, I had a flat tire on the freeway. A new tire which I had purchased from Big O less than a week before had run over a piece of razor blade. Fortunately, I had purchased insurance so that a new tire was installed and I got back on the road with a minimum of inconvenience.

It's not rocket science; you walk into a shop that has 1 car in a bay and ask to have a flat fixed. Not how much it cost (which I was never told until the end) not rushing anyone, and simply wanting to get in and out as quickly as possible as I imagine most people want. But TWO (2) HOURS to fix a simple flat!!!!! The tire was in the bed of the truck, 10 mins tops to fix, throw the truck up on the rack and swap out the tires another 10 mins, put the spare back where it belongs, another 10 mins. BAMB!!! your done in 30 mins! Oh, and there was a total of Four guys working on cars. So if you do the math, 1 car in a bay + 1 tire repair= 2 vehicles divided by 4 tire busters+ .5 vehicles per person??? Hmmm... Now how can I say all this... I was a Mechanic for 10 years so I KNOW when people are dragging their feet. No I will never come back here again and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I came here because I needed a specific job done, done quickly and done right. In the future I will continue to support local small business as I have done in the past. Oh, by the way I own my own business and would NEVER subject my clients to this type of wait time!!!

I stopped in on a Friday to get a nail out of my tire, already had an appointment to get my brakes on Monday somewhere else. The techs mentioned the front pads and rotors needed work. The other guys quoted pads + resurfacing for $100 bucks less. They REPLACED the rotors, pads, and balanced the tires in about an hour and a half. I was on the road and done, smiling. I will return

The owner,an arab guy,kept looking at me real crazy..I was wearing a shirt with a large Jewish star of David on the front...he kept staring at me so I asked him what his problem was..he called me a filthy jew..that's when I got my keys to leave..I said a few swear words,so he then hit me and chased me out to my car yelling free Palestine..wtf?

Stopped in to have a slow tire leak repaired. The person taking my information and pulling up my account appeared to be in training as he needed quite a bit of assistance in taking my information and processing the repair order. Upon picking up my vehicle I was told that we would need to have the two front tires replaced soon. When we stated that we purchased the warranty upon purchasing our tires not but two years prior he said that they "recommend" that the tires be balanced and rotated about every three months in order to maintain the validity of the replacement warranty. If a service is "recommended" it cannot be "violation" of the agreement. With that said, they did NOT rotate or balance the tires while they had the vehicle on site for the repair. Unfortunately, we will not be recommending Big O' going forward.

Avoid this store. Horrible service. They keep changing their story. Bait and switch. They add services not requested. I requested a phone call from the manager or owner. They never called back. I am complaining to Big O Corporate office. Other Big O Tire stores agree with me that these people don't know what they are doing.

I went in to have my brakes checked just to make sure they were functioning properly. They did a quick analysis and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes with an A+ report. The folks at the store in Novato are sharp! Thank you
