Red Roof Inn Chicago - Joliet

This hotel was very clean close to food and convient stores and it was a good price

Our travel was interrupted by snow so we stopped here. The doors were freezing from the cold and we couldn't get into the first room we were given, so the lady at the desk gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe room. There was sticky residue on the counter and something brown in the bathtub; the woman called over to make sure we got in the room And everything was fine, and when I told her about it she offered to come over immediately and clean it, but we were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. Cleanliness aside the room was comfortable enough but VERY run down; the shower wall had a foot long crack in it, and there were holes in the bathroom wall. The framed photos were buckling in their frames, one of the comforters had a cigarette burn, and the surfaces had a lot of stains.
