Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel

Everything was fine

It is a nice hotel. they are doing renovation on the hotel with I wasn't aware at booking but it was a good stay. will stay there again on my next visit

The valet and bell hops were amazing. Friendly and helpful. The guy at front counter tried to put us in the wrong room. We booked a king sized bed 4months ago. When checking in he said it was a double room. My husband said with a king bed he said yes. We got up stairs it was two full sized beds. The room was very dusty. I tried calling the front desk twice no one answered. Went downstairs and he said they were full and had no other rooms. I told him we couldn't fit in a full size bed. He looked very upset. He put his hand up to stop me from talking. Told me he had a handicapped room. I asked if it had a kind sized bed. He said yes I said it would work. It was not a handicap room!!! He lied again!! Bedspread had spots on it and bedskirt had stains. Very disappointed to be lied to by the guy at the front desk.

Parking lot was a mess!!

This was the most horrible hotel stay I've ever had! I was staying for business and first off the hotel had some major reconstruction going on and everyone had to check in on the 2nd floor. Once I got to my room it was super smoky and I switched. I was there got work and had to wake up very early. At 11pm 2 security guys BANGED on my door waking me up even though I had a DO NOT DISTURB sign up. When I answered they asked who I was and who I worked for and said that there wasn't supposed to be anyone in that room. I had told them they switched me because of cigarette smoke in the other room and then they said sorry and left. At 1am apparently the alarm clock in the room was set and it started LOUDLY playing rap music. I got no sleep on that stay! Horrible experience!!!!
