La Madeleine is a very special place. First I love the coziness and comfort of the restaurant. I appreciate the delicious breads, jam, three different types of coffee which is always delicious and the ease of getting refills. La Madeleine is a very giving and generous restaurant. But also as important are the wonderful people that work at this Meyerland location. The manager, Touraj, is excellent and is so welcoming to everyone who is there, as is the great Pedro. Anissa knows our crazy orders even better than I do and makes it so stress free to order. She always has a friendly word for us all. Qais and Mitar work so hard and never fail to give me the ends of the dark bread when I come each day. They make me feel so blessed. Kristine and Zineb are so energetic and friendly to all the people. I wish I could list all the lovely people that work there by name - these are just a few. It is interesting that so many of the same customers come every single day. They must feel the same as I do. Linda

I enjoy the food; the coffee is good and the staff is very friendly. It was nice to see some familiar faces again after being online only for several months. We ate on the patio and the weather was cooperative.
