My main issue was how much information was required by Barclays. Whilst this is perhaps out of your control a little, in this age of GDPR I’m not sure why there’s quite so much information required such as my work telephone number!! If you insist on using Barclays, just be aware that customers feel uneasy declaring their income to strangers and it affects the overall experience.

Assistant was helpful but them kept hovering. Directed us to the ma which had in area of interest which had the higher priced items and failed to point out a lower priced but good quality product which we eventually bought. A good range of products and prices though.

The advisor did everything you could want to with information on our purchase. The problem was applying for credit when buying the item. A mistake was made on the application and he could not rectified the mistake. The credit application was approved but the banking details had been incorrectly entered, so application form could not be completed. So we bought the item via other means. We thought that paying interest free would be better for us.

The assistance I received from the staff was excellent and I was highly satisfied with them. The problem was that as a member of the armed forces I could not get 10% off the overall price of roughly £1400. This was due to the mattress coming with two free pillows and that two discount could not be applied to the order. My argument was that any member of the public could get two free pillows and thus the military discount was not honoured.
