The staff was friendly & competent enough, but the layout of the entry was confusing & difficult. Arrows point to where I thought I wanted to go, but the office - where I actually needed to start - was not immediately visible. After I navigated a circle around the bldg, gave a mechanic my keys, & was inside the office, the staff was polite. However, while I awaited my turn, I saw there were no signs showing the prices of any services or even what services were available. I should have left then, but I didn't have my keys or car. There were also no brochures with pricing or services offered - available when I asked. When I asked for an estimate before the work began, the staff said sure, then pointed to the oil change service they thought I needed on a paper that did not show any other oil change service prices or types. My vehicle may be high mileage on the odometer, but the engine & tranny have less than 40,000 miles on them. I explained, but couldn't get the staff guy to even show me the other options! Again, I should have left; but I also needed an annual smog test, had coupons (I thought) & not a lot of time; so one-stop shopping seemed easier. BTW, the staff guy told me the computer would decide what coupons applied when the jobs were finished. Again, I should have left! I signed for both services & somehow the assigned mechanic was given my credit card which I was told would be returned when the jobs were done. Seemed somewhat insecure, but I really needed to get on with life.... In less than 1/2 an hour, my car was in front of the office, a mechanic called my name & returned my credit card, after having me sign a couple of State Reg forms, I think. I'm still not clear on why the credit card needed to pass through so many hands; but no extra charges have showed up yet on my credit alert app yet. Too expensive, asked for windshield wiper replacements and should have asked the cost first. I could have changed them for half the price.
