BEST WESTERN PLUS Colony Inn

This is our go to hotel when we attend the Midstate fair. We've always had a great experience at this hotel. But this time was different experience. We arrived Tuesday, July 28 in the afternoon checked in and put our things away in the room and then we left for the rest of the day and didn't arrive back to the hotel until 11:30 PM that night. The shower was not cleaned properly the front wall the shower where the faucet handle is located that wall had a lot of hair on the wall so that tells us it wasn't cleaned properly and one of the queen beds had strands of hair under the covers. The next morning housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:17 in the morning when checkout wasn't till noon. I heard the knock so I got up and before I reached the door there was another knock and just as I was about to open the door I could hear that she was already attempting to open our door. So I answered and she just said oh and I asked her why she was knocking so early and she got very upset with me and told me that was her job and she pointed to her clipboard schedule. I said but check out isn't until noon I said it's not even 830. she acted as if she didn't understand what I was saying and I know very well that she understood everything I was saying she got very hateful with me and just waved her hand as to brush me away like I wasn't important to discuss why she was and knocking on my door at that time in the morning. I asked her what her name was and she gave me a rude look and asked why and I said so I can let the desk know and she wouldn't tell me. I have never had such rude service from housekeeping in all the years I've stayed at hotels.
