I purchased a $600 ring from the shop. I brought in a guitar to offset the price of the ring. The guitar was pristine and in like-new condition. I presented it to MIKE and he looked at it and said "not interested" without even making eye contact. I asked why? it's in pristine condition. He said it wasn't his problem, he wasn't interested. I do understand that it is not required of them to purchase my item but he was rude! That guitar would have easily sold for $300-$350 with no issues. The transaction before mine he bought a really bad pressure washer off some guy for $40, but he wouldn't take my guitar? I ended up taking my guitar to a guitar shop and getting my money's worth. I also observed him belittling a woman who brought in a very nice bicycle. He said he wasn't interested because it was "too nice" and that he should call the cops because the cops would think it was stolen or something. Another woman talked to Mike about a pawn and as she was passing me said "I hate this place!" I will not return to this store if Mike is present. However, you do have a great employee in Jason. He is truly wonderful. I urge you to look into this matter as Mike is chasing customers off.
