Steak 'n Shake has the best hamburgers

Took over 1 hour before we got our food. We ordered the food with the drinks. I asked for my shake to come out with my meal. They fixed it and left it sitting out for over 40 minutes and it melted. Then I asked for a new one and got the excuse "it just came out a little early". Then my food was burned

This was the worst experience we have ever had at this Resturant. Our waitress was not very friendly and it took her nearly 10 minutes to come take our order. There were only 4 tables seated when we arrived. Then we placed our drink order and food order at the same time since we had so much time before she arrived. We made a request for the milkshake to come out with the meal and she brought it out within 10 minutes of ordering and after it set on the counter for 5 of those minutes. We told her we did not want it that early and she try to explain that that's how it works. I told her to take it back and bring another when the food came out and so she took it back. Then she brought another one out about 15 minutes later. We assumed the food was right behind it but it wasn't. So the milk shake was drank before the food ever came. Which is the next issue. The food took 1 hour and 15 minutes from when we arrived which was about 1 hour after we ordered. The place was full Of lunch crowd by now and the food was on an hour delay. When we finally got our food it was right and hot but we never even got an apology about the long wait or the mistake of 2 milkshakes. It will be a while before we return to this location and it is right by our house.
