From Des Moines and don't have a steak 'n shake close by. Anytime we are in or passing through Iowa City we stop. Great food.

When looking for a good burger this is the place...my shake was way above average and the service the best this year...it will be tough to top this visit... I hope they continue in this direction!

The burgers are classic...the shake I ordered was the BEST ever...our waitress was very attentive...what else can I say ????

Something has changed, prior visits have been very good, this time the Bergers and fries were just barely warm...also didn't get toppings correct
