Had a great stay

My only complaint was the presentation of the food on the lunch buffet it was awful and the food and side dishes were not fresh the cassata cake was really good

This was the best overall hotel that we've visited in the Cleveland area. We have been traveling back and forth to Cleveland to from Georgia to handle the burial of a loved one. The general atmosphere of Cleveland is very depressing and gloomy. As a travel professional, I can honestly say that this is not a place that I want to get to know. The Doubletree was a breath of fresh air in a weary land. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable; and the location was pretty decent.

The hotel did not meet my expectations due to the said renovation However the cleaning/Maid service was impeccable

Hire was under renovation. Tarps and plastic coverings everywhere. Schula's was totally unprepared- horrible experience at Schula's. Hotel breakfast was poor. Towels and linens were clean. That was about the only plus!
