Dreams - New Cross

I went on a Saturday to the store and a member of the staff at New Cross told me that I could go on a Sunday to pick up the mattress myself from the warehouse in Swanley. So I rented a van, which is not cheap, and when I arrived there I found the place wasn't open. I called the store at New Cross immediately and they said that they had never told me that. I was with my partner when they told me that the depot would be open the next day and we understood the same thing. I found it really unprofessional that in order to sell the mattress they decided to lie to me and then deny it.

We were told we would be called on the phone about a delivery date. No one has called and we have not been able to get in contact with the store. It is annoying and a little worrying as to what we can expect in terms of aftercare with the product.

i was over charged by £86. I was checking my email receipt whilst waiting for my cab outside and thats when I noticed this over charge so went back in. The manager told me im going to get the money back but that is going to take up to x10 working days. Its fair enough that mistakes happen but you should rectify them instantly and pay me that money back straight away! You can take money off me instantly so should be able to give it back instantly. The girl that served me was really nice though, so my complaint is with your refund system not her.

I did not state I was not satisfied. We were very much satisfied with the service. When we called prior to visiting the store Gina was very friendly on the phone and explained everything in detail. She was patient and knowledgeable. When in store half an hour later, we were offered drinks by Gina, she explained everything, she was again patient, fun to talk to. She was not overbearing in any way and although we came to buy a sofa bed, we tested many mattresses as well and bought a couple of tempur pillows. Overall very happy with the service. Nandita put the order through as Gina was attending other customers. As we were without a car and were going out, we also came to pick up some of the items the next day and we were immediately recognised, our items were ready and we were approached by Nandita and handed them before we even properly walked into the store. Very happy and looking forward to receiving our new sofa bed in the next two weeks.

I visited Dreams in Croydon, and I had to go and ask for help although the store and had a complete nightmare Moses and Barry have zero people skills and I intend to take to social media to warn others not to buy from dreams in Croydon. Gina at the new Cross branch was excellent
