The two members of staff who we spoke to had absolutely no knowledge of the products available. I had more.knowledge on the types of mattresses. The staff member did admit she didnt know much as she was a seasonal temp

Although the sales assistant was friendly he was in a rush and ready to sell. I was not given enough time to think. Although I told him the bed I wanted, he did not explain or describe the bed or gave alternatives (if there was any).

Due to the fact that we were told the best offer that could be done on the bed was the price we paid plus delivery and that we would have to pay delivery. However we have found out from your own website that delivery could of been free for the exact same product and to be honest the process would of been so much quicker and hassle free due to the lack of information in store. Lack of knowledge by the staff members when all the information we required we found later on, on the website

Your assistant did not explain to me that I had to dismantle the bed myself before taking it away. As I am 80 years old I find this unacceptable. I cannot lift the bed at all. I have arthritis in all my joints which is very painful. I will not be coming into your store again. Mrs J A Gilluley

I have had to contact the ASA and just spoken to two online newspapers, the daily mail and sun. I had the worst experience. I was told to cancel my order with Harvey’s and the man at dreams told me I was going to get a bargain, the prices of the beds had all been removed when I checked online after the order had been placed he had charged more or the same. The man also wouldn’t take no for an answer from me and started to pressure my elderly father in to the purchase! Customer service refunded me 10% which is nothing compared to what I went through. I am honestly horrified someone would do that to an older man. That being my father I am very upset.

Whilst the original visit started out well, we found what we wanted. The salesman was helpful & checked if weight upgrade was available, then the salesman had I T trouble whilst trying to place the order & had to call head office for assistance. We spent over 1.5 hours in the store despite choosing the item very quickly The VAT disability code was not available so had to be entered by head office. Then terminal trouble trying to take our payment The order was placed & paid in full on 16th Feb but it had still not been started on 12th march due to Dreams messing up despite repeated phone calls from ourselves, calls were not returned as promised Overall the experience has left me reluctant to use Dreams again We spent nearly £3000 in Dreams in January, followed by this order of £1620 but will now look elsewhere in the future. Apologies are not enough.

From the moment we went into store, we was greeted by a very friendly sales person who quickly advised us of suitable beds due to my personal spec. I cannot fault him, he was very attentive and knowledgeable. I would return in the future if I ever require a new bed or their fantastic range of pillows.
