We got carried away with what we were offered and frankly overspent, we put that down to us being stupid and over exited and left it there, our problem created by us and good salesmanship, but when we found the next day we could have saved £270 in the sales, I phoned the store and was offered a price match, had I not accidentally seen about the sale we would have been none the wiser, that salesperson said they do not know in advance when they are having a sale. Not sure I can accept this with a company so well organised, had i been the salesperson I would have said wait a couple of days and we would not have been left feeling let down and would not have canceled I should have thought at the time as we were leaving a member of staff was taking down the posters outside presumably to replace them. after finding this out I asked the store to cancel and was told I had to do it through customer services. Customer services were very helpful and I had to return the 'soft goods' to the store as they could refund them

I felt a little bit pressurised and felt the assistants were Under pressure to sell. Very rehearsed “good afternoon welcome to Dreams” I would prefer a simple “Good afternoon can I help or would you rather browse” or something not so false. The lady was very good and helpful I just left feeling a bit sorry for the staff

We were very pleased with Sandy who treated us with respect showing general interest in what we were after. She is an asset to Dreams. However, the store manger Sandra was not at all nice, we found her to be rude impatient and quite frankly does not have the customer service skills for her job. She was abrupt and bossy towards Sandy even though she was the one who had made the sale. When I thanked Samdy for her help and time, effort we had received. The store manager spoke over me to my husband and didn't care that I was praising and thanking one of her colleagues who she supposedly manages. Both my husband and I were so shocked with her behaviour it was the topic of conversation the whole trip back home

My initial credit application through hitachi failed. I was told this was likely due to an input error ( my credit score is good). I was then asked to go through it again. I asked if this was a check list to which I was told yes. In fact a fresh finance application was being put through via another provider. As this was all leaving carbon footprints I would have hoped I should have been told about a fresh application being made , Which I was’nt. it will now be noted on my credit file I have been rejected merely because of an input error which would have negated the need for a 2nd application. The colleague who dealt with us in store ( Sandy ) was extremely helpful and courteous. The supervisor/ store manager who took over at the desk when the initial credit application failed ( Sandra ) we found to be very abrupt,hurried, quite rude and flippant. I was not asked to read through any of the legal items or terms but merely to tick tick and tick. I have to present legally binding documentation to customers within my profession , And this approach is highly unprofessional.

1 - didn't see why I should provide personal details in order to try the 'bed tester'. Assistant couldn't provide reason either! 2 - halfway through transaction my assistant asked some one else to take over as one of her previous 'clients' came into the store. Didn't make me feel very special. Would have been better to finish dealing with me first I think as didn't take that long - and the other people were quite happy waiting .
