over bearig manager told the colleague who was serving us about being too close to us (the customer) I ws in ear shot and the customer service representative that was serving us was not too close and was very professional. I thought the manager was not professional as she did not speak to Sandy in a discrete manner. Shame on you manager. Sandy was taking social distancing seriously and was a safe distance away. We went to dreams because we were recommended by family members who had purchased just a few days before. When we walked in a staff member came over and asked what we wanted and we said king size bed and mattress and before we could say another word we were shown to the mattress scanner and then shown matching mattresses. We were shown mattresses with a price tag of £2000 and we felt humiliated and embarrassed to say our budget. Being much lower than this. When we did manage to say, the lady serving us said she would work out monthly payments after that amount for us, which we didn’t want and again felt a little embarrassed that no one had asked our budget or taken this into consideration. We left the shop because I was suffering with a panic attack due to anxiety. We later returned (served by same lady) and after being very very firm about budget, we finally got somewhere! But we should not have been left feeling humiliated or embarrassed about being on a budget and that’s exactly how we felt.

Served by 1 member of staff who was really good, however was being constantly overlooked by the manager and felt that the manager was making her feel very uncomfortable and making her seem imcompitant. Very unprofessional behaviour from the manager in front of us as customers
