No king size duvet sets and only one deep skirt fitted sheet. Silent night duvets too expensive and ended up going else where as was 50% off, there was nothing dreams could do to match. Upon paying, it seemed to take forever to actually pay, you wanted all my details, even tho I had recently purchased a bed from Harlow which I must say was brilliant. I would sooner drive 30 minutes to Harlow than go back to Braintree.

I placed an order for just shy of £1,300, then was charged a £39 delivery fee on top of this. On an order of this size, many companies would offer free delivery, e.g. I bought a dishwasher for £150 from John Lewis and they delivered it free. I asked for free delivery, but was told that this was not an option by Patrick from the Braintree store. I will be placing this comment on social media at the weekend. There was also a £50 bed construction fee on top of this, which I elected not to pay.

Was not told about free delivery online and had to go back to store and still waiting for refund! even though we did ask the guy if it was the same price online as in store?

The item I wanted to purchase was not in stock. The sales rep made a note in the diary to ask another local store about there stock holding. They had my contact details and email information but I did not receive any communication either positive or negative. I revisted the store 7 days later but a different sales rep said no stock but would be expecting a new delivery 5 days time but could not confirm if my item was included. I visited another store and managed to complete my purchase. I think the follow up service was lacking dedication.

As the store only had one member of staff, it was extremely difficult to get any advice as there simply wasn't anyone available if there was just one other customer in the store before you. It's as if you have to make an appointment to speak to someone.

Not sure of size required so took a measurement of width (approx 133 cm). The sales person discussed with others and told us we required King Size. When delivered checked width which was too wide. We also bought 2 mattress covers. Rang the show room and they refered us to another number. rang the number the person I spoke did not take the seriously and said there would be a charge for replacing the mattress. I said this was unacceptable as the fault was Dreams fault. Asked about the covers to be told that was nothing to with them and I was told I would have take them back to the store. I said I could not and was asked why not. I said this was not my problem so sort out, in the end she would phone the store. Received a call from the store saying a delivery would be made quickly. I assumed this included the replacement mattress but when in came it was just 1 cover not 2. Useless without the mattress. I gather the new mattress will come next week. When I first rung the store thy should have rectified there fault quickly without referring to an unhelpful person elsewhere.

I bought 2 pillows for £99. No one mentioned that I could not return them if they were unsuitable due to hygiene reasons. I tried one pillow which I covered with a pillow case and found it uncomfortable. I took both back the next day but was told there was no refund in the one I had tried but I could return the other one- you couldn't tell which one if slept on anyway as there was no sealed packaging just a zipped case. I only got £29 refund on one pillow - I paid £99 for the 2.as they were on offer. I will never shop at dreams again.
