The initial sales lady was great, very helpful and attentive. The bed was priced incorrectly and unable to resolve she got a senior sales lady who was very unhelpful with the issue and tried to pass the incorrectly priced bed off without giving us the correct price. Unfortunately for her we was insistent that we wanted to bed at the marked up price and she reluctantly gave some money off but not all. Bed was priced at £1010 in the sale with a further 20% but we was not give the full 20% for some reason. Had to pay £860 when it should have been £780.00. Not happy and will not be visiting Dreams at Braintree ever again.

Asked about 20% off bed frames as the promotion said but this had finished and was told that the deal had finished and will not be doing this again only to find the offer was reinstated a week later prior to our delivery of goods

The driver who delivered the bed made a note on the paper that I signed to say that the new mattress was marked. He said that Customer Services would contact me. They never did.

I thought that the sales person was typical of any organisation trying to push the sale of items that I did not require, specifically additional insurance & bed linen I didn't require. Additionally I ended up paying £39 for home delivery for the item which I believe now I could have collected myself.

We started off quite happy with how things were going. We asked all the right questions and got answers, which when it came to setting up payment were shown to be completely misleading. We asked if the bed we wanted included the base. The sales person replied, yes you can choose whatever base you like, then proceeding to show us several options, leading us to believe that it would be the same price regardless apart from the headboard. He only opened up about the price when he printed out the contract for me to sign. I told him that he had used underhand sales methods on us to upsell dishonestly, and he said - well its your choice and clearly didnt care at all. this type of selling is close to fraudulent, and certainly I would consider a disciplinary if any of my staff behaved in this way.
